It is a shame that this restaurant does not present itself to the street prominently, because I know this neighborhood, and this is the best value near the Woodley Park metro stop (Lebanese Taverna is my 2nd choice, and is a superior dining experience, but not as good a value). You get good food, a great value, and fresh organic... More

The food was very good, pricing was very reasonable, service was adequate, ambience was not so great or would have been a 5 star rating. The restaurant is downstairs from the street level sidewalk. There are only 10 tables and not much décor. More likely to order takeout food from here than eat at the location.

We were interested in finding the meaning of Organic Cuisine. Everything tasted the same as other Chinese places. Everything was very good. There were a number of filled tables and a constant stream of carry-out orders so apparently the word is out that this is a good place to eat. I ordered Beef Chow Mein with an egg roll which... Not the best Chinese by any means, but the chicken and vegetable special was satisfying and the serving was large. Nothing to go out of your way for.

This is the kind of Chinese restaurant that introduced timid Americans to Oriental food when it was exotic, a half century ago. Our meal wasn't bad but it certainly wasn't great; they may use a few organic ingredients, but we suspect more are out of cans and bottles. (We could taste ketchup in one dish. Interesting that such places still... More

We were staying in DC and decided to get dinner through GrubHub. We selected Mr. Chen's Organic. Food was delicious and it was easy to order online. Highly recommend if you are in DC.

Great spot for a quick inexpensive lunch or dinner. The food arrived arrived very quickly. My singapore noodles were excellent. LI wife appreciated the 'Light menu' offerings of basically steamed dishes, served with rice and the sauce on the side.

Given that this place claims to have won some "Best of the District" awards, I was disappointed in the food, which is only ordinary ... and not clearly "organic." Service was fast and friendly.

When I first got to the neighborhood I was here twice a week. Inexplicably, last year, the service, food quantities and quality all changed. The duck rolls are excellent though skimpier than before. A delicious choice, and worth the extra wait, is the Crispy Beef. The staff can answer no question about the level of organic and where the food... More

Won the Best of DC for their Chinese, this non-descript restaurant is easily walked best on Connecticut Ave. but it is so worth looking for! Our party had the General Tso Chicken, Shrimp with Broccoli, Chicken Lo-Mein and the Chicken Singapore Angle Hair Rice Noodles (Curry Style); I cannot recommend Mr. Chens Organic high enough! Simply the Best!
