Two co-workers and I decided to stroll the streets of DC and look for a bite to eat for dinner. We came across La Tasca, which looked inviting from the street side window. I'm glad we stopped in because it had a really nice atmosphere. The food was good, nothing to complain about, I've just had better. But the atmosphere... More

Would highly recommend mixed paella for lunch. Just the right amount of all the ingredients and really tasty. Also, got a spinach leaves salad - nothing special. At lunch time, the place was quiet and not busy. The service was a bit on the slow side.

good place for Tapas. Paella - el pescador - not so good. It was a little dry . I recommend : Gambas al ajillo Jamón Serrano Final comment : food was good but not outstanding.

On a recent trip to DC I stumbled upon this wonderful little Tapas restaurant. The Empanadas and sauces were soo good! I could have ordered everything on the menu. Give this place a shot. It's a bit expensive but it was worth it!

We get into town and it's my birthday but I don't really have a place to celebrate. And we pass by and I say, "That's it." And boy was it the one. The plates really aren't that small and just right for sharing and truly authentic. We LOVED the seafood, asparagus and calamari dishes. And the desserts were divine. I... More

The restaurant is extremely noisy even for an early dinner in the middle of the week. The empanadas were greasy with a mediocre filling. The salad and wine selections were ok. It's not clear if this is a restaurant or a appetizers with drinks place. I think most people come for the later.

Came in on a Friday night, after work, date with my wife. First time to dine in this restaurant and we were both craving for tapas. The place was packed and had to wait awhile for a seat at a cramp little corner in the basement where tapas were served. Boy, was it very loud for a conversation. Waiters were... More

Cheap but good dinner, nice experience. Really enjoyed the tapas tasting menu. Try the sangria, lot of good choices.

This restaurant is magical. I am still dreaming about the bacon-wrapped dates. The service was just so-so. (Slooooow). But the food was well worth the wait.
