We stumbled onto this place from our hotel. As a family of vegetarians, we needed something quick and healthy before a tour, and DC Cafe fit the bill! The owner hand made everything we ordered and tailored it to our needs. With two vegetarians, one vegan and one gluten-free vegetarian, we had some special orders! The cauliflower sandwich is amazing,... More

It filled the gap and service was friendly. I had the falafel salad, the salad was great but falafel was rock hard. Big portions for a good price. Probably wouldn't go back for salad but would try other items.

The owners are of Moroccan heritage and it show in their authentic preparation. I was pleasantly surprised by the huge plate of food on both visits. They don't skimp on quantity and the flavored are consistently traditional. The lamb is slow cooked and spiced just right. The chicken kabob on rice with hummus is almost enough for two. I plan... $60 for 3 gyro, drinks and 1 piece of baklava? Baklava was sad...cold served it out of a box! Not worth your money.

We stopped by this place by chance because there was no wait for a table on Sunday at lunch time. It is a small Mediterranean cafe with a nice outdoor patio. The owner was working alone because his worker had called out. He was very kind and hospitable. He took our orders, brought our drinks out and then served us... More

Very authentic lamp gyros made on the pot with fresh ingredients and a little chat. Took pride in their work and service.

This is one of those "under the radar" places that you'll either love or hate. I've been coming here for years because they make tasty Mediterranean food, for cheap, and they're open late. The inside is a dive, no doubt. But they have outdoor patio seating. The person behind the counter was nice, but a bit pushy with the daily... More

I walked by this place and it looked unassuming. There were a few obvious locals. I did a quick search and the reviews were promising. I decided to give it a try. It was great food! After traveling all day, this was just the food I was needing to finish off the day. Get the baklava!
