Ordered a lamb gyro and chicken shwarma. Both were average. The meat was chopped which I am not used to. Food was really oily as well. I guess for 8$ in DuPont circle you can't ask for more.

Stopped here for a quick lunch while in DC doing errands. The lamb gyro was amazing, with garlic sauce. Came with a generous portion of fries as well. Highly recommended.

Very modest joint, but perfect for a tasty middle eastern lunch, dinner or snack. Not a chain. Something for everyone.

My wife and I landed in DC late and were not sure of what to eat. It was 11:00pm when we set out to eat. We walked down the block and were glad we walked in here. This is a rather small business, a few tables, but you don't feel cramped. We ordered the lamb shawarma and I was disappointed... More

We stumbled onto this place from our hotel. As a family of vegetarians, we needed something quick and healthy before a tour, and DC Cafe fit the bill! The owner hand made everything we ordered and tailored it to our needs. With two vegetarians, one vegan and one gluten-free vegetarian, we had some special orders! The cauliflower sandwich is amazing,... More

It filled the gap and service was friendly. I had the falafel salad, the salad was great but falafel was rock hard. Big portions for a good price. Probably wouldn't go back for salad but would try other items.

The owners are of Moroccan heritage and it show in their authentic preparation. I was pleasantly surprised by the huge plate of food on both visits. They don't skimp on quantity and the flavored are consistently traditional. The lamb is slow cooked and spiced just right. The chicken kabob on rice with hummus is almost enough for two. I plan... $60 for 3 gyro, drinks and 1 piece of baklava? Baklava was sad...cold served it out of a box! Not worth your money.

We stopped by this place by chance because there was no wait for a table on Sunday at lunch time. It is a small Mediterranean cafe with a nice outdoor patio. The owner was working alone because his worker had called out. He was very kind and hospitable. He took our orders, brought our drinks out and then served us... More
