Had a latte and roast beef for lunch here. Friendly staff, nice inside and out. The pastries all look good, I'll be back for more.

In midst of the Women's March, Le Bon Cafe opened its doors and made us feel welcome. So worth the wait. Watching them make the chocolate croissants by hand. Gourmet hot coffees. Little baked treats. I will be back.

We went on a Sunday as the other place we had been going to for breakfast was closed. The food was very similar to a Corner Street bakery or a Panera.

This is a lovely place for a quick lunch, breakfast or just a coffee. One of the best places for coffee on the Hill. It can get crowded, as it's just a small place. Very European feel.

I was attracted to this place because of the adorable window seat with cushion/pillows. However, I stayed and went back like 5 times because of the food and coffee! :) The ham & cheese croissant is perfect...toasted to a perfect airy crispness. Also, the Baked Egg Strata and Ham Quiche were wonderfully done as well. Cappuccino and Cafe au lait... More

We stayed the week in the Capitol Hotel next door so the convenience was perfect for a short stroll to a local breakfast cafe. There isn't much seating, however, if you can get the window seat, you can have your breakfast with a view of the Library of Congress. I discovered the breakfast croissant and returned every morning all week... More

Very small cafe inside. There is outside seating in good weather. Good homemade french style breakfast. Their fruit salad is very fresh with a good selection of fruits. The homemade strata is a nice way to fuel up for a day of touring. Like being in a French sidewalk cafe. C'est Bon!!!!

I ordered a short Americano and was appalled to watch a stone-cold double shot, which appeared to have been sitting on the coffee machine for some time, be tipped into a cup of hot water and served; no crema here! Then waited 15 minutes for a sandwich to go, only to find they had lost the order. There are plenty... More

If you want a peaceful breakfast or lunch, this is a great place, particularly when weather permits eating outdoors in the shadow of the Capitol.

We had breakfast in this delightful cafe and it tasted so good we went back to the counter to buy some take out for lunch later in the day. With a French theme in both decor and soft music, it was a very pleasant setting for a light meal. I dined on fresh fruit and spinach and goats cheese quiche,and... More
