Saturday afternoon around 1:00 and this place was not crowded. We were greeted at the door by an older gentleman who was genuinely friendly. Not sure if he's the owner or just an amazing host but he was fantastic. We ordered a Reuben and a club sandwich. Both orders were great but it took a while for our food to... More

It's in a very great location by tge metro station of Woodley Park Zoo, and tge service is a bit slow but affordable prices and fair portions. The tuna steak salad was good and enjoyable.

We were in DC for 2 days to do college tours with our 17 year old and were staying at the Shoreham. The first night, tired and with me dealing with a terrible cold, we decided to just walk over Connecticut Ave to find something for dinner. We were so lucky to be there during the 70 degree weather in... More

the cafe did everything right but only just. The food was 'okay', the coffee was awful but I've come to expect that when buying espresso in America. The staff were very friendly however.

We stopped here on our way to the zoo and had a nice omelet for breakfast. Service was smooth and reliable. Our food was good - comfort food breakfast. It gave us plenty of fuel for our walk around the zoo.

We wanted to get something to eat after visiting the zoo before getting on the metro and Woodley was in a good location for both. They have a good menu and my husband had the Reuben and fries which he enjoyed and I had the Woodley Wreck which was a warm sandwich with roast beef, turkey, ham and cheese. The... More

Had an early dinner here. Was really wanting a salad. I walked down the street looking at the menus. Out of all of the restaurants on the street this place seemed to have the best salad selection. The waitress was warm and very attentive. The salad was well prepared, the dressing initially seemed as if it wasn't going to be... More

Diner like food. Lovely atmosphere. Very good service. We had mozzarella moons, cheeseburger and chicken Caesar salad. All were excellent. There is a beautiful bar inside for a drink. TV's around as well to watch the game.

This is a café - perfectly acceptable but not fantastic. Prompt service, food is reasonably good for everyone but Calzone was excellent.
