While in Auburn, you must check out Toomer's Drugs. Have a famous lemonade and go back in time in the classic American soda shop. Lemonade, not your thing? Get a delicious milkshake - all handmade right in front of you at the bar. If you are around for lunch, try an awesome hot dog or sandwich. Prices are extremely reasonable... More

Spent 4 yrs in Auburn back in the 60's and only went in Toomer's one time. Ths year we went to A-Day game and Toomer's was on my list of must dos. Worth the wait. The lemonade was very smooth and not too tart. Didnt try the food but drink hit the spot on a warm spring day. If you... More

Stopped at Toomer's while in town for an Auburn softball game and what a treat! We came for the lemonade and ended up having lunch here twice (at my daughter's request). Staff is super friendly and you get the campus atmosphere here too. Food was inexpensive but so good. Great local stop you should not miss when in Auburn.

We had lunch here while visiting the campus because our tour guide enticed us with tales of famous lemonade. It didn't disappoint. The lemonade was fantastic. We also ordered chicken salad sandwiches and the chicken and dumpling soup for lunch. The prices were incredibly reasonable but the food was just average. We also ordered an ice cream sandwich and apple... More

Our family of five crowded around a small table and had a very good Friday afternoon lunch. I had a Grilled Pimento Cheese Sandwich with Toomer's Lemonade. Not the healthiest sandwich but I love pimento cheese and it was good. Of course, the Lemonade was excellent. Service and atmosphere were very good.

We stopped in for lunch on our first visit to AU. We sat at the counter and has soup and toasted sandwiches. The famous lemonade was delicious on a cool day in January so I can only imagine how great it is in warm weather. Food was excellent, service outstanding, prices were reasonable and even inexpensive. We didn't get ice... More

So Toomer's has cold and panini press sandwiches, Lay's Chips, shakes with ice and them and good lemonade...so now what? Ate there recently on my first trip to Auburn but I left less than impressed. I have no axe to grind with the area or the school but I cannot objectively give Toomer's a good review. With three tables and... More

We always enjoy coming to Toomer's to get a nice glass of lemonade and ice cream! Nostalgic and then we take a walk around the campus! Sweet memories!

Saw the signs for their lemonade and stopped in to give it a try. Very good - worth a stop. Also servers a variety of ice cream creations.
