This place does not look like much from outside however the food and service was very good. Great relaxing place to eat.

The Handlebar is one of the Crown jewels in Apache Junction for casual dining. It's not a fancy place, in fact the interior mood is somewhat dark-sit outside! You will find great vegetable sides along with a variety of unique hamburger choices. They always feature 6-8 tap beer choices and a decent wine offering. Service can be iffy, so don't... More

It feels like you're hanging out in someone's back yard, great service and food. The waiters treat you like a friend. It's definitely our local hangout place...:)

Found this place after a round of golf. The pub has a great selection of beers. Service was excellent too! We will be coming back here.b

Stopped in here at the recommendation of a good friend. Had the steak sandwich which consisted of steak tips, onions and cheese. Others had the burger which was also enjoyed. Good comfort food in an outdoor setting.

This place shocked me! From the outside it looks like a tiny little hole in the wall. But when you enter the patio area you will be amazed! It is so pretty and relaxing and there is plenty of room. Inside is small but nice and they have live music a lot. They have a large beer selection and wine.... More

Went here twice for dinner while staying in Apache Junction. Both times we had their daily special. Smoked wings and then smoked ribs. Fantastic! Great food and service. Able to eat outside after a short wait on a busy Fruday night.

Enjoyed a great lunch with a nice choice of foods. I loves the fact that some of the sides were healthy. I had the smoked sweet potato and it was great. Will definitely go back.

Weather, service, beer, music....! We weren't thrilled to have to hang too close to Phoenix after flying in late, but...the Handlebar made it all OK. Good beer. Good prices. Fun,live music. The chicken wings were perfectly "under-sauced". The meat was good and the sauce was there, but not too sweet or thick and optional. The Brussels sprouts were a fun... More

Stopped by on a recent trip to hike the Superstition Mountains. We'd been on the trail for 6 hours that day, so we cleaned up and headed out for some food. The Handlebar came highly recommended by our Hotel Staff, and it didn't disappoint. MY wife had a Grilled Chicken Pesto sandwich with Kale Slaw. I had a Green Chile... More
