I've been there for lunch, just finished, it's a decent place. It looks cool, almost kind of vintage. There's a parking outside, which is pretty nice. The food itself is average, for what I've tried. The pizzas are pretty good, the pastas are ok, just ok. And they do something that would make an Italian mama have a heart attack... More

There is nothing wrong with Charlie's trio but nothing very special either. The food is decent, the atmosphere convivial, the service adequate. But the food is predictably Italian, the drinks are expensive and the place can get noisy, especially if there is a sporting event on the television. All in all, it is a safe bet but not memorable. Happy... More

Stopped in Wednesday evening around 7:30 and had to wait 10 minutes or so for a nice table in the corner for the 5 of us. Waiter was very helpful deciding what to have. Prices were reasonable and portions were large but not huge. We had a carafe of their chianti for a $13. Didn't have the pizza but it... More

The food is good and the service is fast for lunch hours. I'd go with one of the calzones and a salad, they are great! If you prefer take-out then I suggest the broasted chicken and potatoes.

We were there for a dinner on the very busy Valentines Day. Had the jade martini and it was excellent. As others have said their bread and oil is great too. Loved the scampi with wide pasta noodle dish made with a vodka sauce. All the way through the Spumoni this was excellent dining. Pizza is available too. Adriana was... More

We arrived in LA late in the evening, drove to the motel near Pasadena and wanting to grab a quick dinner. Charlie's was one of the Google suggestions and it was not far from the motel on Huntington Drive. It was Monday night and a football. The bar area was full with the usual football fan cheering on their team.... More

This is an very affordable Italian Restaurant in the heart of the Main Street Alhambra with more to do. Good wine list. Nice variety on the menu.

Took my daughter there for lunch and she enjoyed a hand-tossed pizza with pepperoni, black olives and jalapeno peppers. I like the Southwest Chicken Salad which is filling and not overpriced. Wait staff and kitchen crew were wonderful and the place is cozy without being too loud. Facility is nice and clean. I'll definitely go back and enjoy more delicious... More
