I usually frequent this restaurant once a year for a birthday celebration and found the meal and atmosphere enjoyable. Ordered the chicken club sandwich on a ciabatta loaf with bacon, spinach, lettuce, tomato and avocado; it was very good. Sandwich was $16. Ordered a cup of beef/barley soup which was thick with barley and not so much broth. The outside... More

I had a very disappointing lunch with friends at Bittersweet, where normally I find evening food & service very good. I ordered a Ruben sandwich ($16.50) which comes with fries. Most restaurants let customers substitute salad for fries but the menu indicated any substitution at all was an additional $2.50. That brings a sandwich (before tax & tip) to $19.00.... More

We were casually dressed on an impromptu date night and were treated so wonderfully by our server, Jessica, and staff. Jessica was attentive and our food was served on perfect timing. Our meals were delicious! We ordered a pulled pork pizza as an appetizer which was a meal in itself. My steak sandwich was delicious and easy to bite into... More

Drove by from out of town needing a place to eat with our therapy dog. It was a very cold night but they turned up the outdoor fireplace for us. Dinner was very tasty! The Truffle Chicken Gnocci was a delight! The gnocci was like little pillows of heaven. Planning to return during the summer months and enjoy the patio... More

We had a very enjoyable dinner at this nice restaurant! I had the short ribs and they were to die for! The crusted fish was excellent also. The wine pours were good and I tried a cocktail called the "Mule", very tasty! There was a large party next to us, but the server made sure that we still got great... More

Good service. Food is a cut above but so are the prices. Not for a cheap lunch with the kids but a nice place for an adult meal or with kids if you don't mind a little higher price ( and compensated by the quality) range than say the local cafe.

Just got home from a disappointing breakfast at Bittersweet Cafe. Hopefully, for their sake, it was an off day, but we will not be returning. We've had a better experience in the restaurant (for dinner & happy hour) than here at the cafe. Here are the facts from our experience a couple of hours ago: 1. The noise level inside... More

I have enjoyed the bar & patio here for many years. It often left me with a surprisingly high bill, but the food & beverages were good & the atmosphere pleasing. My most recent visit made me angry. Maybe it was because I was there on a weekend instead of my usual weekday visits. But the amount of food served... More

Looked around for someplace for a late night dessert and came up with this place. Wow, awesome ambiance and decor! The desserts were beautifully plated pieces of art and tasted delicious. Spendy, but if you're going to eat the calories, what a great way to do it! I had the Bread Pudding, my friend had the Chocolate Walnut Bread Pudding.... More

We've enjoyed both meals and appetizers w drinks here. Laid back atmosphere. A popular appetizer is their "pizzetta." It's a tasty, thin crust pizza, to be shared between 2-3. Have loved their soups. Extensive bar menu - warning: tab runs up fast, and cocktails are tasty. Some dining rooms and the patio have a fire going - very nice. Some... More
