This place has great food and amazing drinks. The buffalo milk was good. They also have a mind blowing drink that tastes just like a pancake breakfast.

The food and service at The Lobster trap is great! Fun crowd at the bar, Isreal is the best bartender on the island. We will be back for sure!

This is a must for this local favorite. We had dinner picked up for our room and enjoyed every bite. Lobster tacos and Smoked fish was amazing.

Went here after a Scenic Tour of Catalina, fun place & the fish is fresh & great choices on menu. I loved the fish tacos & shrimp & scallops my hubby had he said was really good. The staff works hard & aims to please customers.

Ever since the Island Company would not renew the lease for Armstrong's Fish Market (a terrible disservice to residents and visitors to Avalon), The Lobster Trap has been our go to place for fish and seafood. We especially like that they offer a choice of sauces and preparations with your choice of the fresh fish. The also have a decent... More

The service was good. I had the seafood pasta with pink sauce, the shrimp & scallops were overcooked but the fish was perfection. It needed salt but once it was added it was good! The clam chowder was thick but very flavorful. The in season local lobster was $49.00 It was a pass. Ambiance is pretty non existent here.

Sunday Dinner Pork Chop, rice, garlic bread, garlic mushroom sauce. Pork Chop was so tender with the garlic mushroom sauce it melted in my mouth. I was overjoyed with the flavor. The service spectacular. What a way to see the Super Bowl game on the big screen TV's. Fun crowd, great food and service. Who could ask for more?

Early 5:00 pm dinner, solo, chose Fish & Chips. Large portions of Alaskan Cod, with breaded coating; proved to be a hearty dinner. Fries standard, added cole slaw. And New England Clam Chowder that was surprisingly excellent (I'm from NE) And beer. Atmosphere was local-like and many locals frequent this place. Friendly service and "island" prices. Seemed like a large... More
