One of my company drivers had told us about this place, hit it for lunch while I was in town. Got the bbq bacon burger, huge burger and they don't skimp out on the cheese our bacon either. The fries are not my style, too soggy but not horrible. Overall not a bad place.

We love the burgers at Wize Apples, I ordered barbequed brisket, the sandwich was drenched with what tasted like Masterpiece bbq sauce, Way too much sauce, I have also ordered the special which was brisket sandwich that was covered with soo many jalapeños it was ridiculous. There was more jalapeños than meat, Concentrate more on the taste of the food... More

I went to this place with my wife and daughter for dinner one time. Our experience was one that will remain among our library of inside jokes for the rest of our family's existence. Wize Apples is a common reference in our family's jokes, and humor when discussing where to eat dinner. The mere mention of the name of this... More

The restaurant is tiny and funky and a bit dirty, but the food is really good. It's definitely a dive, but if you like burgers and are driving through it's worth a shot! I certainly wouldn't make it a point to go here as a destination in its own right, but we were driving from Salida to Albuquerque, and the... More

My husband and I went here to be adventurous after reading the Trip Advisor mixed reviews. After eating here we also had mixed reviews. The food was decent prices for hardy portions. It tasted good, but not exceptional. I got the patty melt and a ton of fries and my husband got a huge double mushroom burger with his own... More

This place was recommended to us by a local who said it was a hole in the wall but the food was excellent. She was right in every way, it looks like the place you would walk right past but don't. The burgers here with unlimited fries are amazing, with lots of different combinations and at a good price. The... More

Ok, so from the outside it looks like a dive. From the inside it looks like a dive, a funky one with two rooms, glow in the dark stars on the ceiling and lots of neon beer signs. But don't be fooled by the looks. The food is pretty amazing. At least 30 different burgers are on offer from the... More

Took our Aussie relatives here to show them how we do it here. They were floored by the size of the burgers, the endless fries, and the excellent prices. Made them want to move to America.

If you are the type of person that chooses a book by it's cover you might just pass this place up, but you'd be missing out on some tasty and plentiful offerings, not to mention some very funky furnishings sure to get a conversation started. The bacon, guac, green chili chicken sandwich was big enough to share and the fries... More

The building is a bit run down, but we entered to see a full house of families dining. The burgers were huge and stacked high with whatever extras you ordered. The burgers were lean and tasty.
