This place is an Aspen staple. The food is really good and reasonably priced. One of the last true local places to go when in town. I have been several times and have not been disappointed.

The rack of ribs was among the best we have ever eaten, if a little on the small side. They were smokey flavored, and fall off the bone delicious. Sauce On The Side, of course. The onion rings and caesar salad were also very good.
The Hickory House has been an Aspen staple for-ev-er! The food is always good and the prices are very fair. If you want to fill up on good and reasonably priced food, this is the place.
When our ski group goes out to Aspen we always reserve a night to have dinner at the Hickory House. The food is good! Barbecue,coleslaw and bread,what could be better? The wait staff was friendly and attentive.
Great ribs, fast service, just go here or order to you hotel. We ate here twice during our stay but I could easily have dined more at this place.
