Great casual spot for a outstanding meal. The Salmon was among the best I have ever tasted. Prepared with a wonderful quick seared crust outside, but still med rare inside and marvelous flavor, served over very flavorful lentils ...... Wow, it was GREAT! Also the cheese board starter was equally noteworthy, with a special truffle honey as perfect compliment to... More

Good customer service is usually a given in a town like Aspen. Not so, unfortunately, in our recent experience at Rustique. As there is almost nothing on the menu for vegetarians, I asked if I could order a couple of the side dishes served on one plate. The server without thinking said "no." Our table was a little surprised by... More

Every year in Aspen we have dinner there twice. Place just getting better year after year, very tasty, very reliable, good selection of drinks. Best bartender in Aspen, Sam.

This is one of Aspen's clasic french restaurants. We especially enjoyed the frog legs and roastd chicken. the service was not great but it is a very nice setting with white table cloths and comfortable atmosphere. The food and wine are resonablely priced for high end eatery . The only disapointment were the brussle sprouts ... a strange preparation, not... More

We ate here this evening and had a great dinner. I had the calves liver and my husband had the half chicken. Our food was wonderful, tender, tasty and plentiful. We were seated right away and had a very attentive and personable server. The ambiance was fun and while the tables are close together it was not a problem for... More

In spite of a reservation, the restaurant was packed and had to wait 35 minutes standing, bar was full too. The aubergine and cheese were excellent, large wine list, the chicken and salads good size and very tasty Good choice if you are willing to wait for a table

There aren't many restaurants in Aspen that can claim the "staying power" of Rustique Bistro, and for good reason. For a high-end meal that would easily compete with the best in France itself, along with atmosphere and exquisite service, this place is an absolute delight!

Our skiing group went to Rustique Bistro on the suggestion of our ski lodge manager. The food was acceptable but nothing special, and not worth the high price.

Whether you're in the mood for a warm crock of French onion soup or salmon tartare, this place serves up the best French comfort food in Aspen. You can't go wrong with the steak au poivre or the steamed mussels...but save room for profiteroles for dessert...yum!

Rustique has been around for years and the food is consistently good (never had a bad meal there and have eaten several excellent meals). The pot-au-feu is my favorite with its perfectly braised and seasoned ribs. Highly recommend this excellent restaurant
