Had the famous Red Onion Salad which was very good. Decent beer selection. Good service. We would try again.

Good experience at the Red Onion. A classic bar in the front part of the building with dining in the back. The food and service was good and not as pricey as I expected for Aspen. +++

One of the oldest restaurants in Aspen, the atmosphere was great! food was very good, as was the service. They have a very large whiskey menu, which my husband loved.

Had lunch at the Red Onion. The service was good and everyone liked their meals. We had a new born in a stroller and the staff moved tables to permit us to have the stroller at the table.

Yes, we drove for hours, with the wild expectations of "the worlds greatest cheese grits" (wife's description from past motorcycle trip). So I'm thinking, ok, let's make a special day trip for that.......we got there about one-ish, to find out the chili and cheese grits aren't served till 4:30 for dinner...... so looking over the menu, I decided to have... We enjoyed the food, atmosphere and friendliness of the RedOnion. We were seated quickly, the staff was attentive and there when needed. We actually visited twice during our stay. The food was fresh, hot, and well proportioned. Loud, but not too noisy. Fun pics on the walls. Overall pleasant Daniel was awesome btw she wears cool head bands, definitely will... More
