Great food but they have dropped their best items - the lunch crunch. It was just the right size and price for lunch. The Lunch Menu is too much food for lunch and it is too expensive. $8 plus drink and you are over $10 plus then a tip and suddenly Lunch is a $12 - $13 affair.

We went for lunch and they skimped on the meal. I love Mexican food and when I ordered the burrito at this location compared to others the burrito was half the size. With 2 quarter pieces of tomatoes, an inch round of rice and 5 pieces of shredded lettuce and some beans. The chicken and spinach burrito was bland with... More

This trip we tried the shrimp taco's and were plesantly surprised the soft tacos with everything and the shrimp all cold diffently a great change to supplement the Mexican menu at El Toro's. And the service was super with regular check in to see if we were doing good and enjoying our meals.

My co workers and I went to El Toro while working near Alachua and had one of the best burrito dinners I have ever had. I ordered the fajita burrito which was on their special board outside the restaurant. I had the steak fajita burrito as well as two others in the group. We all agreed they were delicious! The... We visit whenever we are in the Gainesville area, and are never disappointed. Food is delicious and served piping hot. Service is excellent. Wonderful Chicken Tortilla Soup, and Taco Salad. Chips, salsa and guacamole is delicious.

This is a nice place if you're seeking casual dining and good TexMex. The service is good and the food is good. My wife and I and our senior pastor and his wife often frequent this place on Sunday afternoon following the morning service.

El Toro restaurant in Alachua, Florida serves the best authentic Mexican food I've ever enjoyed. Service is great...friendly yet professional. Love their cheese enchiladas and their taco salad. Friends who have dined with me never hesitate to return to El Toros.

We have eaten here on many occasions and keep going back because we like it so much. Pleasant, comfortable seating and environment and quiet enough to have a conversation even with background music. The food is very good, salsa is perfect and chips good. They offer a variety of dishes, including vegetarian choices.

Food here is always great! Service too. We are definitely repeat offenders eating here a couple of times a month. Salsa, chips and queso are great. Tacos are always a take home when we have no time. Monterey dinner is a favorite. Can't go wrong here. Love this place.

Met here with a group; lunch special for $7.99; nice place inside; the wife had 2 enchiladas & a taco; I went for the beef & bean burrito, a taco, Spanish rice & refried beans, of which I brought about 1/2 back home since it was a lot of food. The others in the group all enjoyed their meal, also.... More
