My last review was for their old location. Their new place is so much nicer! I like the concept of the restaurant. It is clean and very friendly. Got there between breakfast and lunch so I got to experience both. Breakfast was nice. I don't eat meat so for meat eaters imagine an endless supply of bacon! It is only... More

First - the restaurant has moved. Correct address is 3845 Acworth Due West Rd. Second - we were pretty excited for some southern food on our way to FL, but feel the reviews oversell this place. Its a reasonably good value at $9 for buffet including drink and tax. The chicken, fried zucchini, and peach cobbler were yummy. The cobbler... More

Went in with a friend for lunch. Little busy but table quickly became available. We elected the buffet and we were delighted. I actually wanted to come here for the vegetables. I was delighted to find not only beans, okra and tomatoes , and string beans, but delicious meat loaf and great fried chicken. They had other vegetables but I... More

When you arrive, the restaurant smells of momma's kitchen where I grew up in the south. They have an incredible buffet or you can order from the menu. I've eaten here twice and they do not disappoint. Green beans, real mashed potatoes from fresh potatoes, meatloaf, crispy fried chicken, hamburger steak, corn and oh....the peach cobbler! It's not out of... More

Really good affordable country cooking. Chicken is great and the Friday seafood Buffett is solid. Oysters are as good as any I've had back home in Florida.

Now, you have to realize what you are getting into here. It's a buffet. It's all very country-southern food. Nothing "upscale"; nothing fancy. Grandma could have made all this food (if you are lucky enough to have a Grandma with some southern skills). So don't go looking for something you need fancy culinary training to prepare. DO go looking for... More

Delicious homemade food at a reasonable price. Quickly becoming our favorite restaurant. Fried chicken and country steak/gravy are really good. Love the fresh vegetables. Even the coleslaw is my four-year-old's favorite. Don't forget the fruit cobbler for dessert! The only complaint is that I always overeat and need a wheelchair to carry me out. Serving staff is as sweet as... More
