The food, veggies are overcooked and too salty. The sweet tea has tasted better. The place smells so heavily of fish, we could smell it on our clothes when we left. ....SMH

I've been going to this restaurant for years. I love the kick back atmosphere and the huge portions for the price. The catfish, I love. The huge drinks, which I usually get water with lemon, but my baby gets tea sometimes. All of it is good eating. Desserts are a bit under sized. Lol (small portion, but good)

One of the best places in my hometown to eat. Every dish is good, no matter what your preference is. I eat here at least twice a month.

If you are in Albany and want some true southern style fish or BBQ, come to Blackbeards. It's a nice, comfortable dining environment. The locals love it. Be prepared to wait for a table on the weekends. They do have nice benches outside on the front porch though.

I've lived in this area for 17 years. In the first 16, I have eaten here with friends and on special occasions when I did not have a choice. I did not care for the majority fried menu and I am big dude with a healthy appetite. I also cook professional BBQ part time. The food is good here! No... More

What a great place to enjoy lunch on our way home from the golden Isles. We were still hoping for seafood and were not disappointed. Great fried oysters and shrimp were enjoyed. Generous portions and fair prices aadded to this fun lunch. We were glad we found it.

If you like old-fashioned fish and grits, this is the place for you. They also have the best steaks and baked potatoes, St. Louis style ribs, pork chops and hamburgers. They also have quick and convenient take outs. I don't know how to grill out, so on the 4th of July and Labor Day, I always stop in for ribs... More

Round one was great. Reorder took a long time and I only received 1 fish. Quality went down on reorder.

So much wonderful food, such great service, we ate til we were stuffed and still had to take food home. My husband had the fried catfish. The boys both had the snowcrab legs and I had the biggest ribeye steak I've ever seen. It was cooked to perfection and was so tender, juicy and absolutely delicious. One son shared a... More
