The owner seats you, takes your order, and cooks your meal. Our meal was delicious but fairly expensive. The portions were average size.

The Hungry Grouper is the best on the island. Argyle is not only an outstanding chef but a great person. He understands the intricacies of heat, spice and treats each dish with absolute precision. We ate here twice and we devoured our food each time....We brought in our catch from fishing and Argyle transformed it into an amazing meal that we will remember for a long time.More

Small place with 5 or 6 tables. Owner took our orders and then cooked the food. The jerk chicken was excellent. The spicy garlic shrimp was fantastic and had quite the kick. The coconut rice was the best I’ve ever had.

We came here for dinner, and had them cook our fish that we caught. They prepared it three ways for us with multiple sides to try many local flavors. The blackened was by far our favorite – they are special recipe for seasoning is amazing!!...You really can’t go wrong with anything from the spot.More

Went with another couple for dinner. Initiate local restaurant. The owner serves you personally and cooks your meal! Eat what he recommends! Can’t go wrong! I had blackened snapper with shrimp. Delicious. The Spanish coleslaw is particularly great- fresh tomatoes cilantro. Yummy!

The food was great and prepared to order. It is small, maybe 5 tables, and the owner was our waiter. My wife had the jerk chicken with coconut rice and coleslaw. I had the grouper and shrimp with special rice and coleslaw. Both were well...prepared and flavorful.More

Don’t miss this place, we go every time we are in San Pedro. The food is phenomenal and the owner, Argyle, is so fun to chat with. He will make anything to your liking and has the most special habanero sauce. Love.

We got lucky and had a local recommend this gem after snorkeling Hol-Chan. The owner puts out dishes you will not get anywhere else on the island. Tons of flavour, come in knowing what "island time" means and have the best meal of your vacation.

The food was amazing!! It’s a small restaurant with only a few tables so if you have a large party call first. We had the coconut grouper and shrimp. Oh my it was delicious! It was $70 Belize ($35 US) and worth every penny. It...wasn’t a huge portion but just right for one person or two small eaters.. This was our first visit and we will be going back!More

Had a wonderful dinner. The owner and chef really took care of us as well as a picky eater. Blackened fish as well as the chicken teriyaki nd jerk were amazing. Keep in mind the space is small and it is all cooked carefully and...is fresh. Do not be in a hurry, it takes time. Great experience for sure.More

We walked to this tiny-but-awesome restaurant. Owner is named Argyle. His wife cooks. We both thought the lobster dish was scrumptious, and you get plenty. The red snapper with cream-coconut shrimp excellent. My frozen Mojito was so delish I had a second one!
