We came here for several times. The fact that this is only the fine restaurant in PG is obvious, especially in terms of place. The food is fine but not very good, you can have party, sometimes listen to the drums if you are a big group. But if you only have 4-6 people. Sorry, you may wait for a... More

We had a few drinks and watched local drummer from local organization, Drums Not Guns geared at keeping youth putting their energy into constructive pursuits. I'm told this is the place is the best place for seafood and I do not doubt it.

Great restaurant, best food in town! Fresh seafood, cooked perfectly with amazing flavor. Very friendly and attentive staff to ensure your experience is pleasurable. Location and atmosphere all that we hoped for, right on the water with the great ocean breezes.

Went to Asha's to have a nice meal in celeberation if my birthday. Could not have made a better choice. Delicious fresh fish dinners suggested by Asha himself, who catches all his own products from the ocean infront. And chocolate cake to dye for. Beautiful views and great helpful staff A must stop when your in PG You won't be... More

The B&B we stayed at suggested Asha's for dinner the night we arrived. It was so good we went back the next night as well to try something different. Prices were very reasonable and the food was excellent.

Just returned from Punta Gorda, to Ontario, Canada. Asha, his lovely wife, and the myriad of cousins, nieces, nephews and brothers, all contributed to a most enjoyable week. Asha also arranged for a fly fishing excursion for me, with his brother, Yogi, a truly entertaining and professional guide. We have already planned to return, next year, for two weeks.

Excellent service, delicious food and drink with aesthetic flair. My first experience in Belize was arriving at Asha's with a gorgeous view of the water and attentiveness of the friendly staff. A local fisherman rowed up to the dock and excitedly showed me his catch of hogfish which the chef cooked up for me right away. Just about anything on... More

Was with a group of approximately 25 people so advance reservations had us set up for a food buffet. Various choices of great fish dishes and sides. The owner, cook made us feel very welcomed. Was even a local band playing drums outside on the veranda. Nice cool breeze from the ocean. Very enjoyable.

Thank Rcgrizz

Top quality seafood and barbeque in Punta Gorda. Relax at the only restaurant and bar around that is completely over the sea. Fresh meals are cooked to order with sustainably caught seafood; fish are often caught by Asha (the owner/head chef) himself. Our kitchen serves hearty dishes prepared with healthy ingredients.

Listen to various styles of live music – including Creole and Garifuna drumming, Mayan marimba, and international performances – all while enjoying the Caribbean sea breeze with a view of the Guatemala highlands from across the bay.

Exceptional service and competitive prices. Business practices are very environmentally friendly.

We cater to all needs; including large groups, food delivery, and a variety of events. Please call ahead for large groups, to-go orders, directions, or our music schedule.

Marine tours, sustainable-fishing classes, sunset-booze cruises, and cooking lessons are available.
