My teenage son and I are visiting from the UK and wanted to find a friendly quiet spot for coffee and to write our journals. This was perfect. We had wonderful Mocha coffee and chai. My son enjoyed a piece of music that they were...playing and asked one of the friendly waiters what it was. He went off and came back a few minutes later with a write up of the artist and the piece. Then as we were about to leave I realised my Uber app was not working. The waiter ordered me an Uber on his phone and waited with us outside to ensure we go in our taxi. Such friendly and helpful staff. Loved this place. Thank you. Would recommend to anyone.More

Try the Mayan chocolate crepe it is amazing! It's made of pure organic cocoa nibs and grounded here along with a bit of sugar and of course pair it with a latte and your good to go. The service is amazing like most restaurants in...Guatemala you'll mostly never find a frown behind the counter. I could come here everyday if I could. Im in love with the cocoa.More

I was at Zone 01 in Guatemala City so I search for this little Coffee House I've been hearing about. When I was a little child my mother had a small cloth boutique in this zone, so I knew Roque Rosito for beeing a store...where you could buy kitchen supplies (in one of the photos there's the story in spanish of this place). But from a time I've been hearing that they no longer sell kitchen supplies and have a coffee shop. What a great place! The coffee is just great, today, beacause of my blood pressure 🙄 I ask for decaf, but in other tables the coffe is served in FRENCH PRESS! Awsome! I also tried the "egg cazerelo" which was really tastfull, fried eggs over a toamto sauce with mozzarella cheese! In the menu I read that they have also wood oven pizzas! They dont serve dinner, restaurant is open from 8:00 am to 6:00pm Monday to Sunday.More

I went to RR several timed during a recent visit to Guatemala City. That part of Zone 1 is sprouting new restaurants but most serve pricey tipico or nasty fast food (avoid, avoid the texmex offerings on 6th street). But this delightful café is original...and serves delicious woodbaked pizzas - you can watch the chef at work. Shades of "Ratatouille." The music could be a little lower but it is nice to hear Handel and Puccini in this, er, slightly grubby part of town. It is a good place to take friends. And the staff are friendly and kind. When I discovered that I had left my mobile charger behind, a waiter called Vasquez made enormous efforts to help me recharge my phone. One small caveat, not the fault of the restaurant: when I was there once my friends swore they saw an attempt at pickpocketing. Be keep your bag close to you here, as you would anywhere in Guatemala City.More

We were at the central mercado and ran into this cafe and enjoyed it extremely! We ate pizza chapina (woth avocado!) that was excellent - food crust, good salsa, arrived in no time. We ordered 2 salads (the only in the menu) which were very...good. Highly recomended - clean, nice ambiance, good service.More

A tiny cozy place with great local food and pizza on a wood oven with horchata home made. All ingredients are natural.

Morning Bicycle Tour at the historical downtown, with a PLUS: Guatemalan Breakfast with Guatemalan Cheese Cake called "quesadilla" ( do not confuse with mexican salty melted cheese tortillas...) and FRESH broiled coffee and JUST NOW ( in front of you! ) squished orange juice... Coffee...from the highlands of HUEGUETENANGO on a French press... a true experience!More

I went to this Cafe to try the Chai Tea. It's pretty expensive and not quite impressive. Again, pre-made mix and the option to change milk to skim or lactose-free. No soy milk. The place is nice, they have typical restaurant chairs and tables, booths...and couches to sit as if you were in a living room. The ambience is old style, but very clean and no loud music. There was a TV though with the soccer game playing. I liked the booth, very private, comfortable and small; perfect for my solo trips to cafes. The Poppy seed cake was dry and not my favorite. They take VISA, which was great. Service was also good, but overall too expensive for what they offer.More

Perhaps their other food is better, but I didn't really like my chapin pizza. And my smoothie tasted chemically, and certainly not fresh. They do have wifi which is a plus even though it wasn't working for me. I'm sure it works for some people!

We had coffee, pizza, sandwiches, and dessert. This was a great little place! They also sell ground coffee which we bought to take home with us. They also had t.v.'s so watching the World Cup was also enjoyable there.

This is my favorite coffee place in Guatemala City. The coffee is awesome, and the food is really good too. Crepes are their best! You can sit on booths, couches or regular tables. This place has an antique touch to it.

This is an old business, it wasn't always a restaurant/cafe; location is very good, only two blocks from or central park and the decoration is comfortable, not to bright. All food is a fusion of flavors inspired in country's regions. I also recommend, as another...reviewer, the Mixqueño panini. Coffee is really good, but I must say I once found a cockroach in the french press (1 time from 6 and almost a year ago), they did replace it and gave us an extra cup of coffee in a clean press. It is rather expensive, it's definitely not cheap food but recently the have this "combos" for lunch and crepes.More

Best coffee in Guatemala's Centro Histórico. Nice coffee house - restaurant mix. Their food is a fusion from tipical Guatemalan recipes and Italian paninis. I recommend personally the Panini named Atitlan and the Mixqueño absolutely delicious. The Crepes are awsome you have to try the...one with cheese and Guayaba. The Barista will draw you something in your Capuccino's foam if the place is not too crowded at the time you visit. Very nice.More
