Stopped in for a cup of much needed coffee while walking the streets of Panajachel. We had a sample of the chocolates, they were ok not out of the world. We did have a great cup of Atitlan coffee.

Hot chocolate with Mayan chilli was what I ordered... However a very water down version powdered chocolate with of a touch of chilli was provided. Not worth the 25q. Extremely over priced! Can only be improved with more chocolate and milk instead of water. Hold on that's what I did order. The fact the lady running the store also left... More

We had hot chocolate and it was just cocoa powder mixed with hot water. I guess I was expecting Spanish hot chocolate that my Mexican friends make. I must admit that I do not know what traditional hot chocolate should taste like. Very expensive for what we received. I wouldn't go back.

I was intrigued by this place, so I walked in. I ordered a hot chocolate with Mayan spices. It was Q25, which seems pretty expensive, and after tasting it I realized it wasn't worth the money. Hot chocolate tastes watery and not very flavorful. I was disappointed. The chocolates seemed very expensive at Q10 for 1 small truffle (I didn't... More

After walking up and down the long Calle Santander all morning, I stopped in this delightful chocolate shop and enjoyed a revitalizing cup of the most delicious hot cocoa that I have ever had! (And, at age 55, I have had a lot of hot cocoa in my lifetime). The owners were both there and most kind in telling me... More

I picked up some chocolate and some chocolate "tea" at this store. First off it is a lovely store, very clean and well presented. The gentleman who served me was helpful and not pushy. The chocolate was excellent and while it is a small bar for the money (20Q) the quality is high and is very rich. The tea has... More

This shop has great choco goodies, if you don't mind paying the bill. Great taste and lots of options, but you can buy a meal or lots of local sweet things for the cost of a candy.

The coffee was overpriced, weak and nothing special at all and the owner became aggressive and unreasonable when my son accidentally broke a glass. She charged a fortune for it, claiming it came from Guatemala City though we soon found them sold cheaply nearby. My children felt threatened and left in tears. Suggest you have cheaper, better coffee elsewhere!

I happened to stumble into this place. It was very beautifully decorated and the waitress or lady server was extremely nice. I ordered a hot chocolate and sat down to make some notes regarding my business expenses. The chocolate was superb. I really enjoyed this quaint quiet spot. Besides chocolate they sell art paintings, artesano productions and indigenous music cds.... More

My friend, Hermano Dana, spotted Dina's Chocolates on our way into town and guided us there for chocolates the afternoon of our visit to Lake Atitlan. We stopped in and bought a couple bars of dark chocolate, one we ate as we walked around town and the other to take home. Dina also had a great looking plate of brownies,... More
