This place is very unique and should be visited if in town. Restaurant is in an old embassy and the place is rich with history and style. Food is great, however the service isn't always great. Try the steak pimienta and a smoothie.

This is a restaurant-museum. It is a big antique astonishing house, with beauiful decoration and furnishings, with wide corridors and a beautiful garden. Historic site, very well conserved. Good service and attention from personel, but the food quality needs to be improved. I ordered a fish plate and was regular. The restaurant is too beautiful to serve regular dishes. Prices... More

The restaurant is gorgeous, very well decorated, very elegant, and a big event location. They have great food, and good service. The mero al ajío es fantastic, their vegetable soup could do with more flavor and should be served hotter.

Really excellent meal. The most expensive meal our family has had thus far in Guatemala but was a lovely setting and delicious food.

We held a missions anniversary celebration for friends who have lived in Xela for 20 years. The food and service was impeccable. Wilder, the manager, and servers such as Virginio and Wilmer greatly enhanced our experience as well as that of the 75 people in attendance. Kudos to this wonderful establishment!

Tertulianos is a treasure. The house has a history of its own and you can step back into that history each visit. The chef is AMAZING!!! They have plenty of options and whatever you pick you will enjoy. If you need a special place for a special occasion, you have found it!!!

Absolutely amazing brunch with everything you could ever dream of...minus mimosas :/ Omelette station with the works as well as some traditional options such as fried platanos and fresh-made (in front of you) tortillas. Great at accommodating large groups there were a few groups of about 10 people or so but did not slow down table service at all. If... More

I've been to other restaurants for breakfast in Quetzaltenango, but this is the very best in the city, the restaurant is located in an old mansion that has been restored, so the ambience is outstanding, beautiful gardens, beautiful interiors. The service is of the best that I've seen and the food is also excellent. They have many options of breakfast... More
