We rolled in as they were closing. We were at the Graduate where the Foundry is located. Son had mac and cheese and I got the burger with some amazing sauce on it. The drinks were strong and cold and a band was playing. Wish we had more time there.

Came while I was attending a conference. A large group - around 100 people. Great music, and adult beverages.... I will be back!!

Great selections of drinks and short order items. Great jazz music tonight was a special treat with a packed house. Very nice place to visit while in Athens.

Very cool old metal Foundry that is now a bar/restaurant/live music venue. Anything involving the grits is great and the Mac & cheese is killer. Respectable selection of craft brews on tap. Try anything by SBC and the Tropicalia from Creature Comforts is a great juicy IPA.

We liked our dinner at The Foundry so much the first night that we ate there again the following night! I had the Bistro Steak w/ mushroom grits, and it was superb! Very tender and flavorful, and the grits were the perfect accompaniment. The following night, I ate their burger with smoked gouda cheese, and it was equally good. So... More

Came here to listen to a pretty well known musician. I understand they also have a lot of more local talent much of the time. The price to reserve a table was reasonable for concert venue standards, but expensive for a local college bar scene. The food was upscale southern and very well prepared.

Avoid this venue at all costs if you are looking to have a good time in Athens. We were asked to pay $22 each for a "no name" artist on a Tuesday night in Athens. We were having a fine time until we were asked to leave for talking at our table. I'm not kidding, we were conversing in a... More

This has been one of my favorite small venues of all time, BUT it could be ran soooo much better. If they actually provided service at the seats instead of making everyone in the whole venue go to the tiny bar, they would do 3 times the sales. All food is also ordered from these 2 bartenders! And if you... More

I ate here for dinner on a short business trip. I had a bacon cheese burger with fries. The (BIG) hamburger was excellent, and the food was hot and fresh. I was with a big crowd, so the service was a little slow, but that was more our fault with the amount of people we brought in. They only have... More
