A friend of mine who owns a restaurant told me about their Shepherd's pie, the Tuesday special. Normally I go to my friend's place on Tuesday but I decided to go to the Peasant and I'm glad I did. The pie was good and the...More

Small restaurant with outside seating and a small menu, but the food they serve is just about perfect.

I've been meaning to go here for a long time as I live just out side Athens, GA. First visit was a few weeks ago I and was not disappointed. Arrived at 12:15 on a Saturday for lunch as the place was packed (good sign)....More

We actually travelled 2 hrs to try this Pub on a recommendation. Glad we took the ride. It is located in a quaint section of Athens. It's small and fills up fast. The fish and chips was wonderful even if the chips were American fries....More

The food here is great as is the beer selection. It's pub food but with a little more of an upscale twist. I'm overall a big fan, there are two downsides. One is parking, it has none. You have to find a spot in five...More

We visited this English tavern for lunch at the request of our son. It turned out to be a pretty good choice. The entrees ordered were: Pie O'Day (venison beef), genuine Shepherd's Pie, and Fish and Chips (authentically served in newspaper). All were expertly prepared...More

Ivan, Mike, Shannon. and Jess treat you the right way. Meghan, Britney, Augusta are great staff. Marla, Bales, Alejandro, and the rest of the chefs make fantastic food. If you don't like this place, you won't like it anywhere.

My husband and I enjoy this little pub. The food is great. I had the sheppards pie and my husband had a burger. It was great. I believe we had blue cheese chips too that were nice. I wouldn't recommend going during games or events....More

We'd like to come and have lunch with you on Saturday and we were wondering how hard it would be to get a table for 3?

Shouldn't be a problem, especially if you're not picky about where you sit, outside or inside. Really nice covered patio, really nice pub, so either is great.

Our entrees were all just under $10. There were, as I recall, some over, but we were there for lunch.
