My husband and I have been going there for all of our anniversaries, plus birthdays. i seem to prefer their Friday night seafood buffet, over the Sunday brunch. Going a bit early is the key. Service is impeccable, you can go back and forth to the buffet as many times as you would like. The buffet is constantly being restocked... More

I treated my son to a pound of crab legs...$65 and they were awful. I had lobster and it was tough and hard to eat. In the freezer too long? While the waitress was very nice she wasn't very attentive. Rushing right past with a stack of dishes without checking on us. The food was slow to come out.

We have lived in the area for over 25 years and never visited this established restaurant. We has dinner there on Sunday evening the 29th.. I must say I was taken back by the food prep that certainly did NOT live up to the reputation it supposed to have. The room was not well lit; service spotty; food bland and... More

An established Fox River restaurant in Algonquin was a disappointment for us. We went for dinner on Sat. 1/28/17 @ 7 pm. We made dinner reservations the night before with no problem. I recall it used to be reservations had to be made weeks to months in advance . When we arrived and checked in, they did not show us... More

Still ok but it has been downsized. Fewer options and the crab was waterlogged and lacked flavor. There was 2 servers spread between the omelette station, hot crab and the 2 carving stations resulting in long waits or no turkey or beef. Somewhat disappointing after coming here for many years. The dining room was half empty. I think the word... More

Port Edwards has the most fresh seafood we found anywhere in the Midwest. We've tried most everything on the menu and have never had a bad experience. Our favorite has to be the seafood buffet on Fridays...all you can eat and so much to try. Fresh crab, many types of fish, sushi, smoked salmon, a Cajun bowl of goodies and... More

Port Eds reminds me of the restaurants of yesterday with its old world charm. Seafood is their specialty and it shows. Love the buffet! Highly recomended!

On Friday evening for $42 per adult from 5p-9p they have an international seafood buffet, we made reservations for 5p and when we arrived it was pretty empty but its still a good idea to make one, by 7 it was packed and there was a wait. The buffet is very good, hot & cold plates, hot & cold crab,... More

I went to Port Edwards to celebrate a family member's birthday. I hadn't visited this establishment in years; however, and wondered about the quality. It surpassed my expectations. Unusual, but reasonably cozy elegance. Our server was very professional, polite and knowledgeable. Our food was delicious. Definitely a keeper.

Stopped for a quick lunch. Three of our group ordered the fried grouper sandwich. I ordered the lobster roll. We all enjoyed our meals and would definitely return. I really enjoyed the lobster roll which was served on a buttered roll. It was served "wet" compared to the dry lobster roll we had in New Hampshire. I would order this... More
