This place is always busy and after eating here I understand why. Good food, good prices, and friendly staff.

We're in Antioch periodically. I can't believe we've never discovered this little gem! We're always looking for a good breakfast. Most are okay. This one was A+. First, the hostess was very welcoming friendly!! Always a plus! And though she seemed young, perhaps 20's., she was very polite. At first, she wanted to give us a table in the middle... More

Very good service. Very good place for breakfast and lunch. 50's decorations. Prices are reasonable.

I used to like to take my daughter there for dinner. They remodeled and are not open late anymore. Too bad. Antioch needs to have more options for dinner dining.

This is a great place especially for breakfast. They are reasonably priced, good coffee, and good service. One of the last family type diners around. Menu has something for everyone. Personal favorites are the breakfast skillets and the hot turkey sandwich.

With a Main Street just like Disneyland Antioch is the quintessential mid-America town. And no town is complete without a cafe like The Vegas. Booths and endless cups of coffee (yes it's bad American coffee but hey it's endless). Friendly service and a range of items on the menu to keep you occupied for days! I went twice for lunch... Loved our breakfast here! We were on the road and saw the Vegas cafe about the time we started feeling hungry. I had the bacon and avocado omelette and my husband had the BLT with eggs. My omelette was filled with perfectly cooked bacon and topped with ripe avocado slices. Every bite was perfect. As we stopped late in the... More

Went to the Las Vegas Café in Antioch, IL yesterday for a late lunch. Both my husband and I had the dumpling soup. I must say it was very good but the dumplings were too big. They should have been half their size or smaller. I had the special of the month, a wrap filled with chicken salad, cranberries and... More

We have been there several times while visiting family in that area. All of the meals have very generous portions. The soup variety is great and last time we were there, they had 4 or 5 different soups. The chicken dumpling and cream of chicken rice were better than most. The sandwiches and wraps are big enough to share and... More

My husband and I decided to try a our downtown local restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised on how fast, friendly and good the service was. We were there for breakfast, and our eggs were done to our liking and delivered hot. The food was good.
