Bunch of us guys went out for cocktails here. Just a great, old bar. BBQ Pork nachos were an unexpected surprise. I'd go back just for those! Staff was friendly and courteous. I'm glad I'm a guy though. Unless you are with a group, this place doesn't scream ladies night out.

Decent pub food. Comfortable surroundings and friendly faces. Occasional book club meetings sponsored by the library are very entertaining and cocktails thereafter enjoyable as well.

Been going here for many years now, back to the time when Eddie and Bonnie owned the place. New owners have maintained many of the food traditions including their fantastic Wednesday and Friday fish fry. Fresh ocean perch breaded very very lightly and fried to perfection. This is an "all you can eat" offering. The price is reasonable considering the... More

This place reminds me of the good ol days. The food is always good. We went on St. Particks day and the service was great and the food was better than any irish restaurant we have ever been to. The prices are fair, food is fresh and good and service is good. What else do you need?

Eddie's is located in downtown Arlington Heights, across the street from the train station. So if you take the train and your stop is there, you can't miss it. Stop in and have a drink... and order from the menu, you won't be disappointed. They have VERY good food for what us norms consider "bar-food". I've been to several family... More

We went to watch the Cubs playoff game and have some dinner. There are ten televisions, but nobody cheers. The food is just OK. Everything is priced about ten dollars. The service is pretty good. I don't think I'd need to go again.

The old Eddies isn't the same. A few new owners and the food has gotten better. Many regulars around the bar and the food has improved in the last year.

Located in the heart of downtown Arlington Heights, across from the Metra station, Eddie's has been there for a long time. Though the restaurant is a little dated and is much like an old-fashioned neighborhood tavern, there are several TVs, and plenty of seating - besides at the large bar. We tried the fried chicken and it was excellent and... More
