I was hungry and it was close to lunch time so saw this restaurant and stopped for breakfast. It is located in downtown Arlington Heights. Although not very busy I had to wait some to get someone to seat me. I found the surroundings in need of renovations, they were a little worn and felt dirty. I used the washroom... More

My family stopped in here after the memorial day parade. The hostess and servers were very accommodating of our big double stroller. They also brought over some blocks for our two year old daughter to play with which was very helpful in keeping her entertained. They were all very friendly and the food was good. We both got omelettes.

Affordable and tasty and even if a line - they move the tables quickly - in summer they put coffee outdoors to enjoy while you wait. This is a go-to for us - in our rotation of breakfast choices.

Went for breakfast with the family. The service was good and the food was fair, but the restaurant was not very clean. Had a dirty water cup on our table, the wall by our booth had crusted food on it and the restroom required quite a bit of attention.

Located just on the outskirts of downtown Arlington Heights, the Up Town is a little gem that's secreted amongst stores. The staff was very, very friendly, even helping me out with the doors when I left. We tried a grilled cheese sandwich with chips and that was tasty. The other entree that we tried was a Spanish benedict, though we... More

I have never had a soup I didn't like! They all taste wonderful just like my grandmother use to make! Also Great crepes, chicken fingers and corn beef and cabbage come St Patrick's day.

Family owned and operated restaurant. Good food at reasonable prices. Their omelettes are light and fluffy. A great place for family breakfasts . It can be crowded on Sunday mornings.

We've been eating at the family owned Uptown Cafe for nearly 30 years. Everything on the ample menu is made fresh daily onsite. Prices are reasonable and portions are very generous.Love the breakfast choices, especially the skillets and Crepes (breakfast is available all day). Soups are homemade and some of the best I've ever eaten (soup is included with most... More

Co-workers brought me here. Nice place and we seemed to miss lunch rush. Prompt and solid service. I went for breakfast and had plenty of choices. Ordered the country skillet which was a good proportion, fresh potatoes, well seasoned sausage, and flowing coffee. I'll be back when in area. Per card open 6:00AM to 3:00 PM
