In my trip in Maroc I eat I'm budget restaurants with acceptable quality (value) . I remember The Kasbah as my worst place to eat. Poor quality and starving portions. The good point is the terrace where you can see the atmosfere around the "blue door"

Not that we have dined in every single one of them, but we have been in Fès 2 weeks so far, and have sampled a fair number, even a couple of times. The food at the Kasbah was the best that we have found so far at this price point (70 Dh for 3 courses ±). I had the chicken... More

We stayed in Fez for a week and ate in this restaurant 4 times. We had lunches and dinners. Homemade soup, tagines, Cous Cous, salads, greens, bread...all delicious and incredible value for money. Would definitely recommend.

I had never tried a fish tajine before, so I tried it at this restaurant. It was delicious. Plus, the upstairs dining room where we sat provided a welcome respite from the brouhaha of the Medina. Service was excellent. We also learned quite a bit from the old photos hanging from the wall.

The upstairs eating area was pleasant. We had a street side table, which made it interesting to watch the life below. It does not have a clean feeling. But, I would not say it is dirty for Morocco. The service was friendly. It does take a bit of time though. The chicken tagine was boiling hot and had a nice... More

This is good place for cheap tasty food and not too touristy. We liked that you can just have cheese omelette and chips, (for 40Dh) you don't have to have the full set menu - though that is good value at 70Dh. Terrace half way up has view of the gate, and for sure it also has view of chimneys,... More

Had a very tiring long flight and a tiring sojourn to the Medina with a local guide from our riad..hence were not in a mood to refer to our own references nor in mood to hunt places . Went merely by guides suggestion to come here for a good tagine . How veer ;I reckon and figure that most people... More

I've spent two months in Fez, and I eat here every other day at least. It's a great place for a really delicious (sort of addicting) chicken tajine with veggies. It's also one of the few places in this little area that has a really good cross-breeze. So skip all the hawkers and street-level options and get on the roof... More
