If you can only go to one riad restaurant, this is the one to go to. From the moment we got out of car and followed the man with the lantern down the tunnel, to the moment we stepped into the house, to the moment we were escorted to our table and found a woman sitting at our table, we... More

We enjoyed our meal and there was an element of choice. The service was good and the entertainment very good and amusing, both the musicians and the dancer, although if belly dancing is not your thing maybe you shouldn't go here. The owner ( or manager) was very present and talked with all the diners at their tables, sitting with... More

We were planning to go to another restaurant, but friends in Marrakesh recommended Dar Marjana to us. We took a taxi there and found a restaurant employee waiting for us in a traditional Jellaba with a lantern. We followed him through a short narrow street to the restaurant. The restaurant is a traditional Riad with an open roof that can... More

The food was exceptional. Lamb fell of the bone and the portions were very generous. The owner was there to mingle with guests and pay remarkable attention to detail. The live Moroccan music (two bands) and the belly dancing were very enjoyable. The best part for me were the prices. My wife and I did not have alcohol but we... More

Amazing venue. The food is great too, but Dar Marjana should be visited for the ambience of the venue. A hidden secret restaurant located in a dark side alley, as told in tales of Marrakach' mystic. When you enter you will defintely be stunned. We had a great evening! Further - we forgot our bag including a wallet with cash.... More

It should have been our anniversary! Dar Marjana's candlelit ambience, extremely attentive service, and excellent Moroccan cuisine combined for a special evening. Music with a string musician, and later a belly dancer, and a pair of traditional performers, was well planned to complement and not overshadow a fine dinner.

We only found this restaurant by chance. We had actually tried to go next door to Dar Moha without a reservation. So so glad we didn't stay in the soulless corridor room they offered us but instead wandered in here. The venue is something from a James Bond movie! The food was delicious - my brother and I are both... More

An unique experience in a lovely old riad with a fantastic courtyard with open roof, big palmtree, flowers - an exotic garden. This is an "all exclusive" restaurant were you preferable book a table, you are served a great meal with drinks (aperitifs, wine and after dinner drinks) included for ca 55 euro per person enjoying an evening with music,... Very nice all inclusive night with entertainment. Very pretty setting and glad we went. Food very nice, not sure wine contained any alcohol. Belly dancer came on at end.

Morocco at its finest. This was our "elegant meal" out and it was perfect. Traditional multiple course Moroccan food and catered to us being vegetarian in advanced. Incredible atmosphere very attentive staff. Belly dancer was beautiful and she knew our appreciation of her great dancing. Thank you for a fabulous night!!!

Description
The Riad dates back to the 18th century and it has been in the family since then. In 1982, the Riad was turned into a restaurant known as Dar Marjana and still stands strong today.
We provide a variety of delicious Traditional Moroccan dishes, colorful, and tasteful due to the wonderful varieties of the Marrakchi spices! We assure the best service possible, in order to make one feel like home. During desert time, your eyes and ears will be captured by the great entertainment of Gnaouas and belly dancers which will leave you mesmerized. The atmosphere is ever so beautiful, with an ancient Moorish architectural style, a tiled and marbled fountain in the core of the house, and a grand patio garden, with the enchanting voice of a lutenist in the background.
