The Staff are second to none polite courteous . The atmosphere is Truly amazing burrowed under the streets of this lively City is a maze of passages and splendid decoration mosaics. There is a Guest house connected to the restaurant the rooms are opulent and by comparison reasonably priced . The Royal Suite is Fabulous .

This place is like in the 1001 Nights adventure .....beautiful from the outside and pretty amazing inside as it is an old royal palace - and now a great restaurant. It is for tourists - yes, absolutely but don't let that scare you. The food is wonderful and the entertainment has a great element of humour and the staff is... More

We went really hungry and probably this is why we didn't get satisfied!we tried tajines with chicken and cous cous and they weren't tasty!it also expensive compering with the prices in Rabat. Basically for tourists, because of the building-nice for photoshooting- and the excessive live music.

We visited Dar Essalam on Christmas Day for dinner and had a wonderful time. The food is stellar and the entertainment is lively and fun. Three of our six family members were invited to participate in a musical number, and another was able to engage in some belly dancing. The music and dancing were superb and we had an excellent... This was the place the tour guide brought us to. He told us several time that this was the place where Alfred Hitchcock filmed "The Man Who Knew Too Much". It was a huge not very intimate restaurant which was too dark for me. I like some light. The only other groups sitting there (it was mainly empty) where form... More

We went there with the two of us. After one hour they asked what we would like to drink or eat. Then, we had to wait for a long time ago. We asked multiple times, but they said 'one minute' and they did not return. The maroccon salad as starter was very good. The tagine as main dish was not... More

We ate dinner here our last night in Marrakesh and what a great experience! Very traditional, with musicians, belly dancers, the lot! Fabulous food and wine and great value!

Generally the place is packed since a ton of tours book this place for entertainment. Great local entertainment with songs and dance. A bit touristy and the food is good but not the best. The prices are a little higher to cover the entertainment. The waiters are not attentive and disorganized when it comes to serving bread, taking orders etc.

We were staying in the riad and the restaurant is quite famous and so we "had to" go. I must say the food was very, very nice and the prices were extremely honest. The wine was well priced too and I was impressed, especially initially, by the super efficient service. The belly dancing and music were fun too but after two... More

Our group of three adults chose this restaurant with hopes of having a wonderful last meal before our departure flight. The first red flag was just that, a man with a red flag herding a huge tour group into the entry. The second red flag was not seeing a single local anywhere…we looked. We tried earnestly to order from a... More
