We had dinner here 2 out of the 4 nights we spend in Marrakech. The pizzas were amazingly good!! We also tried typical moroccan soups wich were delicious. The terrace has amazing views but there are lots of cats running all over the place.

Cafe restaurant l'Etoile at the market main square - a proper restaurant where you sit on the street, under huge umbrellas, in front of the Cafe which is on one of the thoroughfares into the markets.  The traditional tagines are delicious and very cheap MAD40 (AUD 6.50) - we had both the lamb and chicken, the mint tea was hot... The restaurant is at a very convenient place, right off the Djemaa alFna. The food is alright, not too bad, the service however is pretty terrible. They do everything they can to stop you and seat you, but after you feel unwelcome, eat and go is the message.

This is a great place to stop for lunch, the chicken shawarma wrap with fries (chawarma au poulet & frites) is particularly good. Spiced marinated chicken meat is roasted on a vertical spit, shavings are placed on a wrap with a dressing and shredded vegetables such as lettuce and tomato. The whole thing is then tightly wrapped and grilled (in... More

If I could I would have given this 3.5 stars but not an option. Everyone sits either in the tables, outside, near the doorway or up top on the terrace, which overlooks the main square of Jemaa El Fna, which is where we sat. The restaurant isn't outstanding and the service is rather slow but the food is perfectly acceptable.... More

Greta place to stop in after a busy haggle in the square. Cheap but good food can be had to refresh you for another stint of bargaining. I recommend the pannini's!

This is the most terrible food experience i have ever had in my life ( i mean it ). We were served raw chicked and it was all black as it smells so bad. If i didn't have to give them 1 star to write this review, i wouldn't give them anything.

The sitting space inside was cool considering hot Marrakech weather. The food was good. We ordered mixed BBQ grill and Tajines. Both were great. The service could have been a bit faster but overall a great place.

This was a lovely place to sit and have a drink and just watch the world go by. Perfect location with an excellent view. Drinks nice and cold and reasonably priced.

Went here a couple of times as wanted to eat with view of the square. The food was good and prices were cheap. Service was good and relatively quick. Would recommend if looking for a cheap lunch
