I visited on 25th May 2017 and had a lovely seat with excellent view of the square. HOWEVER, I only ate a fruit tagine (some fruit in a tagine) and two of their fruit juice drinks. About an hour after leaving I had pain in...More

We were sitting at the roof top, which gave us amazing views of the craziness that is happening in the square ( snakes, monkey, dancers,..) however the food was very tasteless. When you order drinks, ask for the price as it is not on the...More

One of the grand cafes most suitable for watching the action at Djemaa El-fna favoured both by locals and tourists. It is relaxing to sit in the shade drinking mint tea ( also available without sugar) as the world turns around like an image in...More

Mandatory purchase of at least one (non alcoholic) drink to be allowed onto the balcony overlooking the square, which is fair enough. Get there at least an hour or so before sunset if you want to nab a prime balcony edge table to watch the...More

We didn't expect brilliant food, though it is no doubt safer than in the square below. We had brochettes that were totally servicable, though the pizza wasn't great. BUT we had prime seats to watch the square as the sun went down. Wonderful!

No wifi, rude people and average service. The place is also very dirty. Food was less than average, so i suggest you focus in the amazing view and have a coffee or a drink (non alcoholic of course)

We had a tour the day before and our guide recommended having a drink on the balcony here. It was a great sugggestion and after negotiating the main square and finding the entrance this is a great vantage point. The terrace has a dual aspect...More

Mandatory consumption + terrace entrance/service cost (approx. 16Dh) but a great overview of the square in return. The terrace is closing around 22:00 so don't hesitate to visit.
