Great menus choice at very reasonable prices, there is a choice of set menus or a la carte, the food is fabulous, the service friendly, the wine excellent, a great place to have an enjoyable meal and a relaxing night out.

We came to visit Le quartier Gueliz and we found this nice restaurant. The food was delicious and the Morocan wine superb. Nice service too. Agneaux tajine is delicious!

A group of us went from our hotel to this restaurant, thirteen in total on Christmas Day they were able to accommodate us all and the food and service was out of this world. The owner even arranged two minibuses ( at very reasonable prices) for our party so as to get back to,our hotel which was about ten kilometers... More

Le Jacaranda offers a break from traditional Moroccan dishes. Sea food from the Atlantic at Oualidia is a speciality. Fresh oysters are always good. The restaurant is located in Guelize, the newer party of Marrakech which has a retro-feel to it. Back to the 1930's? I like the atmosphere in the area as well as the decor in the Jacaranda.... More

Had a wonderful dinner at La Jacaranda. Had the artichoke with mushrooms. That was fantastic. The lamb tagine was also very good. Very pleasant atmosphere. A French café.

BUT this restaurant is tired and the cooking is uneven. We were a group of ten. Some had duck and sweetbreads and enjoyed their dinners, others had beef, chicken and fish and did not like their dinners. There is nothing about the dining room or service to make up for the cooking.

After having tried various kinds of Moroccan food we one evening settled for European food and found Le Jacaranda in the new city of Marrakech. We both took fish and were served beautifully arranged plates with white fish and thin slices of salmon with nice accesories. In short - the meal was not spectacular, but very good!

A traditional french style restaurant without thrills but good quality food and pleasant service. We ordered the menue and were not disappointed; fresh salad, a decent chicken breast and tasty dessert. Pleasant and attentive staff who kept the flow in the service, so no-one gets forgotten. The bill was pleasant too.

Thank H B

With its large neon sign advertising its presence Le Jacaranda, in the very centre of the Gueliz is unmissable in more ways than one. A large building draped with greenery and with a purple awning shading diners from the heat of the daytime sun, Le Jacaranda comes alive at night. The inviting dining room has a homely yet romantic feel, dim orangey light giving a candle-like glow to each table, crafty, colourful artwork lining the walls and even a brickwork fireplace to add to the homespun atmosphere. However, its the food which brings Le Jacaranda up a level to gastro-paradise. Chef de Cuisine Philippe Coustal uses his vast experience to create some of the loveliest French food youre likely to taste outside of Gaul.
