We had this restaurant booked for us by a friend, not knowing anything about it. What an absolute treasure! We were also the first to arrive, and greeted by our wonderful waiter 'Mustafa'. What a gentleman. Kind and friendly and providing service equivalent to any fine dining experience worldwide. The food was exquisite. A 4 course truffle menu was on offer, but you could also choose from a French inspired a la carte menu. I had the St Jacques carpaccio with truffles, my partner had his best ever tasted 'Mi-Cuit fois gras'. Followed by a classic Lotte fillet with a rich and creamy beurre blanc and fillet de bœuf and sensational truffle sauce. Mind blown! We enjoyed it so much that we booked for lunch the next day (it's where I sit right now while I write this review for lastnight experience). For lunch we were greeted again by Mustafa and had a wonder lunch menu of Sardines ventiennes & veritable œuf mimosa and our french favourite Cuisse de canard aux lentilles. We are undecided with desert as we speak... But we sit and relax with our glass of wine while we decide. Bienvenue à l'o a la Bouche. C'est magnifique.

This beautiful restaurant with excellent service and even more excellent food was recommended by friends and I did not regret the visit. Froglegs and King crab have been out of this world and I rarely had a better Creme Caramel. Bravo to the Chef

We were fortunate enough to arrive in Marrakech on their last day of service before a months closure for the summer and we are so glad we did! The food here is stunning and very reasonably priced. We opted for the 4 course lobster menu and everything was fresh and delicious and it was about 40 quid each for lobster! The food looks like a work of art when it arrives, our waiter Mustafá we polite, friendly and had lots of wonderful recommendations for wines and things to try. The place itself was beautiful very open and airy and the decor was very upmarket and comfortable. We are only disappointed that we couldn’t have dined there again! Thanks so much for a lovely evening!

This is a modern modern stylish restaurant. They serve excellent French cuisine. Tje cervice was wonderful. The sole and fillet steak mains were also perfectly executed. Very well presented. Excellent service levels. However very top end pricing which bordered on expensive in my view.

Why did I have to go all the way to Morocco to have great French food! Mon dieu!! Now that I have just eaten this wonderful food I have to go back to New York and eat ersatz French food and wonder what I have done wrong in life. The head chef is a wonderful human being, as is his partner, and I felt bad that I could not properly express my sincere thanks in adequate French. Some key points; 1. Get away from the Medina! The amount of terrible food is directly calculable by proximity to major tourist sites 2. This is high end French approachable cuisine and delicious. Not fancy nonsense. The kitchen is razor sharp and the service a delight 3. Wine list superb and very fair value 4. Flavors well balanced, seafood fresh and delicious, abundance of pleasure! I weep for those spending their money at overpriced tourist dumpsters in the Medina

From the outside you would see the chic of this place. The restaurant is located in New City area of Marrakesh which to look would appear very new age modern and European. The warm welcoming on entry to setting to our table you have to admire the ambience of the restaurant it’s twist on both Moroccan tiles to modern fine dinning tables was just amazing. Just still getting my head around smoking at the table as a family did but when in Marrakesh this is allowed. The staff and management welcoming with the chef recommending our wine. The food is delicious and we felt the portions were big however for some these could be ok depending on how much you eat. We would definitely recommend the duck and lobster to start with beef tartare & lamb for main. To finish it all up with their selection of deserts and cheese plater. This place is a wonder of culinary delight and a must go when in Marrakesh.

We booked this on WhatsApp before we travelled to Marrakesh after reading the excellent reviews on TA. It’s outside the medina but didn’t take long in the taxi. It’s got a nice atmosphere inside with low lighting and elegant decoration. Tables are reasonably close together but it didn’t bother us. After ordering drinks (note there was no wine by the glass option) we reviewed the English a la carte menu (there was also a set truffle menu available). Not a long menu but still plenty to chose from and they all sounded so good. Worth mentioning they bring you nice French bread throughout the meal too. In the end we chose the lobster Waldorf salad and the sliced duck breast. After only a few mouthfuls we could tell this was going to be an excellent meal - starters were great. For mains my wife had the beef fillet and I had the veal chop. Both were perfectly cooked and so tasty - the truffle mashed potato was heaven too! We were simply too full to have a dessert which was a shame as they looked great. This was a truly memorable meal and for approx £100 including wine and other drinks we thought it was good value too.

I never write a review but this restaurant deserves it. It is really one of the best if not the best restaurant in Marrakech. Great food! All ingredients were super fresh and so well flavoured. Service was great and it is also very kidfriendly. They even made a special plate for my babygirl. It is really a small piece of France in the middle of Marrakech. From decoration to the food!

Residing in Marrakech for part of the year, this table is the sure bet of the ocher city, for me the ultimate reference Without exaggerated patriotism, this French restaurant, managed by two associates who are as friendly as they are professional, have surrounded themselves with a Moroccan team who takes great care of their customers, and their success is well deserved and not usurped!!! For lunch or dinner, a gourmet bistro menu, based only on fresh produce, varied, and which changes regularly according to the seasons and the moods of the starred chef. Small favor for the themed evening menu (this week based on lobster), where the value for money is just exceptional (It changes every 15 days) The setting is cozy and cocooned, everything is impeccable, you really feel at home. Thanks to Denis and Hervé for all the good times spent at your place.

This modern, elegant glass-fronted French restaurant with Italian influences is located in Gueliz in the modern part of the city, about 20 minutes taxi drive from Jemaa el Fna. Spacious seating is available on the ground-floor and a mezzanine and "L'O" is ideal for a fine dining experience, although unsurprisingly this is reflected in the prices. Menus are available online and our experience is that reservations are essential and are best made via WhatsApp. We selected a variety of seafood starters which were excellent and we were equally pleased with our main courses, which showed great technical skill and stylish presentation. Desserts were also a joy! There is an extensive list (available online) of both French and Moroccan wines and we were delighted by our selection, albeit that prices are not cheap and range between around 240 and 8,800 Dirhams. We found throughout our trip that the Moroccan reds were of high quality and represented the best value and this was also true of this restaurant. The service was excellent; friendly, professional and timely. In summary, this is a chic restaurant ideal for an occasion and it provided some of the best dining we experienced during our trip to both Marrakech and Fez. Highly recommended!

We had a great experience at this restaurant during a visit to Marrakech. It is French with a nice authentic menu and good wines. Lots of locals there which is a good sign. While we are not French speakers, we felt very welcomed from the time we entered to the time we finished. Our waiter, Samir, provided helpful information about the menu. His service throughout our meal was professional and attentive. The first courses were delicious. My wife had the oysters, and I had the escargot. Both dishes were unique and well prepared. For the mains, we had duck and the lamb shank which we also enjoyed. We shared a creme brûlée. We had an early reservation. By the time we left, the restaurant was full and lively. Suggest you make a reservation.

A shame ! The dish ideas are good but no mastery of cooking and seasoning. We took a lobster at almost 40th, already in doubt about the weight served, accompanied by mayonnaise (the worst mayonnaise I have ever eaten) and a small salad asking if all the vegetables were fresh. seasoning and the cooking of the lobster was deplorable, a shame not to respect this type of dish, a carpaccio of scallops with truffle not seasoned, snail tortellini also not seasoned… we sent the message to the chef but no excuses from him ah if excuses on the fact that the oil is less good here and that the Moroccans do not like salt while I have never re-seasoned a single one of my dishes since my arrival to believe that the two Michelin stars this walk in the souk, the dishes we were sent more than salty (probably the chef did not appreciate the criticism) overcooked fish mediocre presentation!

Very first restaurant once we arrived in Marrakech and it was a good start. Despite of the fact that we had chosen French Cuisine we did not regret this. All dishes were cooked to perfection and the choice of fresh herbs and spices was excellent. We had lobster for starter to be continued with a great steak in a kind of Bernaise gravy. Was delicious. The hosts are very friendly and even the Maitre appeared at the table to ask for feedback. Well done. I finished that meal with a Cafe Gourmet which was a good choice. The only cons was that inside of restaurants in Morocco it is still allowed to smoke, a pitty especially in restaurants like this where you want to discover all tastes. Finally, we strongly recommend this place for sure and advice you to have a reservation in advance.

We had high expectations but came out sorely disappointed Food was mediocre at best, first they gave us an amuse bouche which consisted of a small cup of cold mashed potatoes with a tiny sliver of tuna or maybe salmon, potatoes were bland and savor less, I had the 4 course menu and honestly all dishes were unimpressive. It was ok but not great, my wife had a cheese plate which was great with a decent selection of French cheeses, then had the fish « st Pierre” the fish was over cooked and tough and the white sauce was extremely bland and tasteless My desert was basically red fruits with yogurt (white cheese) the fruits appeared to be frozen and not fresh. Would not return! Ps: I rarely give bad reviews as I don’t like to be that customer, but the owner of that restaurant needs to up its game, they mention the chef as this Michelin chef from France, well Michelin would not even mention them with what it is today!

We picked here owing to the reviews and weren't disappointed. Phenomenal food, service, and experience (think reasonably priced, unpretentious fine dining with a bit of urban decor and a great view). I can't believe it has only be open around six months because it feels likes a really well established restaurant. I honestly couldn't recommend it highly enough. For international visitors, the only watch out is the online booking. We booked from the UK, but the time adjusted when we got to Morocco and we ended up arriving for our reservation an hour early. It was no hardship as we just had a drink at Boulangerie Pâtisserie Charif next door, but make sure you check!
