Great tajines for very good price considering the quality of the food and the space, beautiful courtyards that make a very romantic evening! Definitely recommend it ;))

We had 3 dinner in Marrakech, and this was by far the best. Pepe N sent a guy to meet us at our hotel and guide us to the restaurant. Verk helpful, and probably needed. Once inside the restaurant is beautiful, and quite spacious. We were a large group and chose from both Italian and Morrocan dishes. We were all... More

We enjoyed a delicious meal at Pepe Nero and the staff were very kind to squeeze us in without a reservation. The portions were plenty big and the ambiance was lovely.

It's hard to know what to focus upon first. The setting is just beautiful in a restored riad. The people were wonderful and the food very good. Our favorites were the soup, the roasted lamb and the salad. One in our group was having some stomach issues and with great concern they brought some spice remedies that helped a lot.... More

We had been tagined-out by the time we learned about Pepe Nero. We're from NY and my boyfriend is Italian-heritage, so we are picky with our Italian restaurants! It was hard to find, like many places in Marrakech, so leave plenty of time to find it. Part of the fun for us was to wander around and find these places.... More

I was staying close to Pepe Nero, checked their review and was in dire need of a nice meal so went to have dinner. The first evening I went there, there was a bit of rain, they closed part of the place, I let the staff know that I did not have a reservation and he turned me away. Went... More

Amazing experience, The food was delicious and mouth watering. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was gorgeous. The food was exactly as described on the menu. The food was not delayed came on time and was a generous portion. The people there where multi-lingual and the staff where very informative. They made me feel at ease and went the... More

Hard to believe walking down a narrow, dark alleyway...that the door would open to this beautiful restored riad. Food and service were very good, nice change from tagine!

We are here on our last night as a bit of a treat. The location/ambience is great, the menu varied and our food was good (warning, the delicious pigeon pie is definitely large enough for two as starter!). The service was average - not brilliant or particularly warm or enthusiastic. Overall we preferred the quality of food here to Le... More

Description
PEPE NERO Restaurant Marrakech : A place of flavours on motion where the senses are constantly coddled Khalid and his team represent the same soul of a single ingredient: Excellence. This where I devote myself body and soul to my passion: cooking We strive to always be precise in our gestures, attentive to the oven, skilled with knives, a sharpened sense of smell, an eye to the market, intransigent with the quality of ingredients and demanding in the kitchen. The battle I fight every day with my team is the oldest in the world:That between the hand and fire.We created the sort of restaurant we would like to find ourselves..Pepe Nero was born to engage and satisfy our passion : Taste, without any constraints or formalisms, with simplicity. But not only. We believe that there has been a generational change in customers who are rather apprehensive of locations that are over formal. With this new role we want to clear away taboos and bring haute cuisine into step with the times.
