Very welcoming and nice at first, Abdou suggested we tried a typical moroccan menu made of tajin, cous-cous and skewers, with some olives. Suddenly, a tiny plate of roasted aubergines popped up as well, to our surprise. The food was not especially good, but this would be all right if he hadn't also brought a "pastilla", which we hadn't ordered... More

Terrible, terrible! The "brochette" meat was dry, taste like nothing. Check the picture mix brochette for 7€? Without rice and no frites! A shame for this country. Plate size for midget people, tanjin for midget people. When we ask the bill first they charged me 160Dirham, I ask for the menu card and check the bill again and oeps oh... More

At chez abdou, they hail tourists to stop by and pretend food is cooked by the mother... the mother effectively in the kitchen has a beird...hummm ..the tagines in the menu are only tagines for the shape of the dish... the skewers are mice size portions...As for taste... there is none... only one advice...run away... and do not believe a word... The guys working here are really friendly, the food is simple, but it is well presented and tasted good. A good place to people watch, just off the busy square.

We had a late lunch here and found it very tasty and well cooked. I will admit, I must be one of the most fussiest eaters ever and if I feel that things are not up to par, I will not eat there, but for a small place tucked away in a corner just off the big square we thought... More

The wife and I were walking down the crowded streets of the madina and saw this hand painted sign for fresh home cooked food. The chief/owner greeted us was a large smile and pointed us to one of the outdoor tables. He suggested the veggies and grilled meats. It's something about eating in Marrakech's crazy streets that gives the food... More

Terrible place: the guy is a crook - he started by lying about what was available on the menu, pointing the most expensive dishes as being the only one available. Then when we told him we did not like these dishes, miracle! the other dishes were suddenly available. Anyway, we ask for those and when i was about to pay... More

If you value your health then avoid this place, the food was poorly cooked and the bit of chicken I had, caused me stomach problems. The prices are a rip off and the rude owner is very sly.

The targine with figs and almond is alright, but the lamb skewer tastes like chicken. We ordered one serving of chicken couscous there came two small plates without chicken. We ended up being charged the price of two serving of vegetable couscous. The pastilla with chicken as dessert, just small size of cookie was over-priced as 50dh !!! Avoid it,... More
