Very busy cafe with great views over the souqs rooftops. Good range of food on offer other than the usual tagine. I had a lamb omelette and salad - delicious and other meals coming out of the kitchen looked very tasty 😋

Lovely set up but a bit pricey. The service is very nice. Nice respite from the heat. The menu looked very interesting but we didn't try the food.

We had dinner here 2 nights in a row, having a lamb tagine on both nights. The second night, the tagine was overcooked such that the sauces were all dried up & meat as well (it was great the previous night).More

Located on the edge of the Spice Market, this is the place to stop shopping in the Souk for a spot of lunch, they do dinner as well. Service can be a bit slow at busy times but sit back, relax and watch the action...More

This is the place to sit and watch the world go by when you eventually emerge from the souk. It's very popular! Great juices, wish I had gone back for dinner. Very reasonably priced for Marrakech

Full of tourists but a nice cafe overlooking a small market. The food was nice and the service was infrequent but okay.

We went there for lunch, and they have quite good options but the prices are european standard. Vegan is not really possible because there might be butter in the vegetarian dishes.

If you are really hungry, get the brunch. It's awesome but it will fill you up for half the day. It comes with Moroccan pancakes, bread, a variety of spreads like honey, almond butter, olive oil, then also orange juice, fruit salad, and coffee or...More

Description
In the heart of the Medina and Souks of Marrakech lies the Rahba Kedima spice square, where old women gather to pound henna for traditional tattoos and sell hand knitted hats, while seasoned vendors run the surrounding spice stores. Within this setting is the now famed Cafe des Epices, the perfect meeting place and rest stop from the heat and commotion of the souks. The inexpensive menu is focused on the simple and fresh, offering teas and coffee, freshly made juices, sandwiches, salads and crepes. The design is correspondingly simple: deliberately paired down and basic in order to offer a peaceful resting place after the visual overload of the Souks. Built over 3 floors, the top terrace offers great views over the square and surrounding Medina, the non-smoking 2nd floor salon is a great place to lounge and the ground floor and outdoor tables are fantastic places from which to watch the colourful comings and goings of the spice square market. Open daily from 9am to 11pm
