During our visit to Morocco from the US, my girlfriend and I were honored to eat at Ziryab. We were very pleased with the entire experience. The adventure started when we were greeted by a guide wearing a traditional Moroccan attire & caring a lantern. After walking through a maze of shops, we reached a secret place with a traditional... Beautiful riad although they had no record of our reservation which we made the day before. Set menus with the usual Moroccan salads, followed by a tagine and couscous. Portions were tiny and not very exciting. On the whole a disappointing experience.

If you're going to eat at Le Ziryab, be prepared to spend a lot. We had been in Morocco for almost a week, so I knew how much money to carry on me for a night out to dinner, and when we were told that they serve a fixed menu at 400Dh (€40) per person we thought it was too... More

I found out about this restaurant through Tripadvisor. I could not see the guide to the restaurant that other visitors had mentioned but it was not a hard place to find. It's in the heart of the old souk and is actually signposted if you look above the shop banners. It has a fixed menu, the food was good but... More

Food was fine. It's a fixed menu. They have someone who meets you at one of the gates of the Old Medina and walks you to the restaurant which is down a narrow ally and around a couple corners off a main part of the medina. You have to knock to get in. Location, authentic design, music, etc. all make... More

Reading the other reviews before dining here at the invitation of friends, I did not have super high expectations. The walk deep into the medina's winding lanes was a great precursor to the meal. The interior decor has a wonderful old world feel and a walk up to the rooftop at sunset yields a wonderful vantage point over the rooftops.... More

A jewel in Rabat medina! Need to go through a part of the souk then through a small street and then you will enter a Riad where you will be welcomed by a very joyful team and you will experience a delightful local food!
