Sweet Easy is a nice restaurant on the peninsula, accommodating to groups, and an expat hang, so not cheap.
Prawns suberb, teriyaki king fish excellent, never had a poor meal there. Just so sad it has closed down

Upstairs above the Ocean Road Shopping Center, the restaurant is one of my favorites in Dar with a wide menu with some good Thai food long with much more. Service is typical of Tanzania, not all that fast. Take the evening and enjoy it.
