Very tasty milkshake! The cafe looks nice and the staff speaks proper English and is obviously trained well. A bit pricier as you'd expect from this high-end cafe. The only minor improvement possibility was that the bread for the sandwiches was rather dry.

The fish and chips were not especially good. As usual for Tanzania the oil was old. But the double espresso milkshake was incredibly good. Just the right thing when it's so hot outside. It is a meal in itself!

Unfortunately Dar es Salaam is not situated in Europe or Asia : finding a good food in the city in not easy. "Discovery" of a place with good food where you can sit comfortable and use decent wifi is a miracle. I recommend a fresh black forest case. The coffee is more than drinkable. The staff is helpful.

If you are looking for a good coffee shop in Dar this is not it. The first time I tried to find this place I got lost as the pin on the map was incorrect. I was easily able to find it after using the round about as a point of reference. I had a double house coffee and although... More

Just walked in to try out the place. I was not very hungry and the coffee aroma just made me want to have some coffee. The waitresses are professional and speak good English and Kiswahili and care for their customers. The prices are reasonable and there is free wifi. The only small short fall is the little corner by the... More

Nice trendy coffee shop restaurant, where I had breakfast and lunch. Nice and kindle staff, clean restaurant, you will be served fast for a good price in the Center of Dar -es-salaam.

I loved the coffee, the best I've had in Dar so far, I ordered a Black Forest pretty worthy of the price yet the taste disappointed me, it honestly tasted bland, I felt no taste from the cake, the cream of over powering the taste of the cake and the cake wasn't soaked enough, I'm a pastry chef by profession... After being quite disappointed by the coffee/cafe scene in Dar Es Salaam, Mokka city was a great find! The coffee is lovely and the cafe has a nice chilled vibe about it - you could just sit in there for hours. Home from home! Food is decent - good portions!

The place is pretty good for both food and coffee. The staff is friendly but not the most observant. The women's bathroom was really bad. The men's was OK, but they should definitely work on that!
