Good place to have a decent lunch. Affordable, not too busy and relaxed environment. We really enjoyed.

Thank you Mr. Patel (owner). You saved a pure Vegetarian Indian guy in Harare. Great food and great service. You'll get most of the Indian dishes. Owner is very supportive. If you want something special which is not there in the menu he'll do that cor you. Keep it up guys. 😃

Situated in the Sunrise Sports Club, this is a slice of India in Harare. The food is good, though slightly limited for vegetarians but if you ask, some off-menu items can also be made. We were in Harare for nearly a month doing TV for a cricket series and for us this was a life-saver. Good food, nice location

In Harare for nearly 3 weeks at a stretch, food did become an issue later on during my stay and so I went out searching for Indian food. Landed up in a lot a good restaurants with bad or 'wannabe' food until I read about and went to Tandoor. This is probably as close to authentic as you will get... More

All venues we phoned on the day were booked out. Even if they had not been the prices quoted for this "special" evening were ridiculously high. Tandoor had a vacancy, and went to a lot of effort to dress the venue up. As usual the food was good, the service more than adequate, and the value could not be bettered.

The place is on Hurtsview Road at Sunrise Sports Club. Food is excellent and all kinds of Indian food - both North Indian and South Indian and veg and non-veg. Has a good seating area and decent staff. Spices are mild and even our 2.5 yr old daughter could savour the dishes.

When Tandoor opened in 2011 I was in bliss. Finally authentic Indian food made by this chef imported straight from India. They have "dhosas", "paper dhosas" and other South Indian specialities...It is a treat. The only complaint: most foods are made with one sauce and it is all hot. You may ask for "mild" "strong" "hot" but it is all... More

Situated on the first floor of Sunrise Sports Club in Ridgeview this restaurant is run by a proprietor who is independent of the Club. Seating is either inside, or on the balcony overlooking the cricket field. This field is in use on many weekends, although they do break for lunch so you may have to talk to your guests rather...
