This is a classic Greek restaurant, like those you'll find anywhere in Greece - you walk in and the owner (a truly kind man) serves you whatever delicious things he's concocted that day based on what ingredients are fresh and good that day. There is no menu, and not much to decide on. He'll bring you way more food than... More

Dinner with friends. The restaurant needs surely some heavy maintenance, but on food quality, nothing to say. It was nice and tasty, the owner very kind and attentive with us, a nice evening.

Home made feta cheese and other original tastes makes this restaurant special. Great quality combined with personal service.

Zorba is a place you go to hungry because the Greek owner (the nicest man ever) will feed you till you can't move. He cooks everday with fresh ingredients and makes his own feta cheese and yogurt. You will be given the choice between lamb, beef, fish or chicken (or maybe just two of the above) the rest is taken... More

Many friends had recommended this as their favorite restaurant in Bamako. The food was quite good and the portions were large, but many of my favorite greek specialties were not on the menu: spanakopita, taramasalata, baklava, but the tzatziki, greek salad, and lemon roasted chicken were excellent.

This place is great! You just make reservations - typically at least a few hours before you arrive. There's no menu - you arrive and are served a several course homemade Greek meal family style at your table by the owner and his assistant. The service is great and atmosphere relaxed. It's a fun place to take a group.

being greeted by such an enthusiastic host, I knew this would be a good experience. Despite the fact that the A/C was not working very well, and despite the fact that the patron turned on the TV to the sports channel, thinking I would want to watch it - no thanks! He did turn the TV off but the A/C... More

Excellent, scratch-made Greek food! The Greek owner will likely serve you himself. Apparently this restaurant was full-up from morning to night before the coup, but now you will likely find you are the only customer there. Worth the price, even if it is a little steep.

When to his restaurant at least 20 times the two years I was in Bamako. He makes his own feta cheese and you can order some items not on the menu. You can ask him to give you what he has in season and it is very good. I know its not as good as in Greece, but he does... More
