This is a nice café in the heart of Maputo. It is a good place for breakfast and lunch. It does get quite busy during the lunch hours. There are a number of sandwiches, salads and bagels on offer and the environment is nice. There is a playground for children and there is often a fair on weekends to buy... More

It's a very nice place. Food is tasty, coffee is very good, and there's a walled-off play area for kids.

Cafe sol is a good place to have a relaxing tea or a salad. The ambient is very informal and relaxing. The menu is good and have several light options. They have a playground for kids, that gives you the chance to read while they play. Often they promote a fair where you can buy souvenirs at different price.

Great food in a relaxed atmosphere, chilled music and the best service we've had in Mozambique. Thank you Ernesto! We had the Turbo Omelette, the Black Olive Bruschetta and the Rissois. Great cappuccino and Pasteis de Nata too! (And for those who have children, it has a play area for them).

Made a couple of visits on my last visit, including an exclusive use party. Food is great, seafood especially, and toilets are clean. The drive from the centre is typical Mozambique. The restaurant has parking. Lovely view.

During my stay in Maputo, Cafe Sol has become a great haven for me to relax and get some work done. Only place I've found in Mozambique with American-style iced coffee! Good menu variety and strong Wi-Fi. Friendly staff!

This was our second visit to the Cafe Sol. We arrived around 9.30 a.m. and we heard we could order breakfast or any lunch dish. Our waiter was very helpful. We ordered breakfast burrito and also the breakfast regular with eggs, sausage with whole wheat or white toast. French fries came with it too. The Mozambican coffee they served was... More

I was on a business trip and during lunch time I would go here to have delicious good quality coffee and some of their food. I had a great carrot cake, sandwiches and a bean tortilla. I would defenitely recommend this place for coffee and lunch! It has nice seating inside and out and their staff was helpful in finding... More

It's hard to find a proper americano in Maputo. They often just serve you an espresso if you ask for a black coffee - but the americano at Cafe Sol is just perfect! Nice getaway, nice service, nice food and nice market once a month.

A tranquil spot within a residential area. Nice for a cup of coffee and bagel. The playground is definitely a plus.
