Hand battered onion rings were an extra large serving and some of the best I've ever eaten. Served with a honey mustard for dipping, these were a tasty ring for sure.

We would never have gone here if the desk clerk at our hotel hadn't recommended it. Abilene is a small town without very many restaurants, and this is really "off the beaten path". Turns out it was a good side-trip, though. Our food was very...More
This outside the city Farmhouse restaurant is the real deal. A lady working at the Eisenhower Library and Museum Gift Shop recommended it and she really knew what she was talking about. The fried chicken was absolutely fabulous. And the cherry pie for dessert was...More
Thank you so much for your kind words. Ya'll come back soon. Mr. K

We had an evening meal after a long day of traveling. It was recommended by our hotel staff and it did not disappoint. Our group all had different items on the menu from hamburgers to mexican and we did not go away hungry. All were...More
Wife and I ate there Sunday when they offer a one price menu. First visit for me, second for her. I asked her what she thought of the food - "Ho hum" was her response. I agree it was very mediocre, quality ingredients poorly prepared...More
