I'm not sure why they call this a beer hall. They've got lots more than that Food was very good. Had read elsewhere that the emadatshi, a chilli cheese-based stew/curry, was truly unique and it was. Recommend it highly. Lots of vegetarian choices over all, tho I'm not a vegetarian and they had meat dishes Really nice garden setting in... More

Kathmandu is certainly the hot spot for world gastronomy... but if you haven't tried the Dechenling then you definitely should... specially if you like spicy food - try the Bhutanese influenced dishes and the atmosphere is great

This was my fave meal in Kathmandu- there’s another name for it but it’s all amazing Tibetan and Bhutanese food. I got amazingly good mutton lungs and other fun weird stuff. Lots of traditional food in a nice secluded restaurant with great outdoor seating.

The place was nice, food excellent (really outstanding) but the waiters were slow, careless and arrogant. We were having a great time after our meal, but the rude waiters ruined it all. They were too busy with a group of tourist and obviously we were not important any more. They didn't even try to be polite.. Paying our bill took... More

This is a go-to place in KTH in my opinion and that of a few locals who I spoke with too. The food is quite good, and the menu includes Bhutanese items, which I ordered and enjoyed very much. It is located off an alley in the NE part of the Thamel area, in close proximity to the Garden of... More

The food here is interesting with Bhutanese, Tibetan and Nepali on offer. Great snacks of Tibetan origin to be had such as the Shabalay. Also best veggie moms in the city. Bhutanese mains are a must. I always leave full! Nice garden area, friendly staff.

We had a good-bye dinner there yesterday and ordered all kinds of different momos to try. I love momos, and these were the best we've had. Thin, delicate, tasty and delicious. The garden is beautiful too and a perfect spot for a quiet, romantic dinner or a nice group event. Highly recommended.

Thank Pierre B
