We recently went to koto (lalitpur) for lunch. We had 1 sushi bento, 1 salmon teriyaki bento, 1 Coke, 1 mineral water which totalled to approx 2100rs. The sushi bento was a great deal with 5 types of nigiri & maki. Both bentos had stir fried chicken, tofu miso soup and shredded cabbage salad as sides. The only let down... More

It is not even very expensive and serve a good selection of sushi amongst many other things. It is also in a good location close to Thamel and the royal palace. The ambience is... More

I know looking for sushi in a landlock country is almost impossible and unrecommended, but when my cravings for sushi or Japanese curry pop up, I always get my fix at Koto. Not the cheapest place to eat, but worth the splurge.

I enjoyed a casual dinner here one evening, stumbling upon the restaurant quite by accident and were surprisingly impressed. The service was excellent, the food was quiet good and looked healthy fresh. They have a Brilliant Menu!!The soup and sushi were delicious. The prawns were also amazing..

Best place to have Japanese food in Nepal at Heart of Kathmandu, Durbarmarg. Great customer service with warm ambience gives you a feeling of Japanese culture. World class food served with perfection. Pocket friendly menu prices with tasty and quality food.

Although the Restaurant is a little out of the way on the first floor, it is quite pleasant inside. Staff were very helpful and friendly and there was a large selection on the menu. I found that the prices were good value compared to my hotel, and Japanese food can be a pit pricey generally. The food was excellent, and... More

Had Teriyaki chicken with spinach and it was good. Other diners were more adventurous and their meals looked great. Seems a popular place and I would definitely return again. Good wait staff.
