Like the atmosphere there. Great place to chill out with good music and drinks.try meat momo for the first time there and it was amazing also the mushroom soup. But the veg pad thai and dal baht didn't have any flavor and it was wast of money.

I liked the food and the range of food available here. It has a menu common to a lot of other Thamel restaurants. Food quality was good and the menu would cater for anyone's taste. Location is good and it is easy to find. Great staff.

We go here to get away from the hustle of the city during daytime. Sit in their bamboo garden and get away from noice and pollution. Their grilled halloumi sandwich isa must, preferably together with a Funky Buddha special shake. I also recommend their today's special hot meal for any meat eaters out there. We are vegetarians and there's plenty... More

It was my last night in Thamel and I was by myself. Looking forward to some Nepalese food and not wanting to eat local western food. All the locals want to take you to eat steak or pasta, why? Anyway found this little gem by walking a bit further from the lit up areas of Thamel. Dim lights, cool feel... More

We had a nice chilled afternoon sat outside in the funky Buddha garden today- the drinks were great and the music/atmosphere was brilliant. A nice change from the busy/ bustling streets of Kathmandu. However the staff weren't very welcoming or friendly in comparison to other places in Kathmandu where they can't do enough for you. Overall a positive experience but... More

I love chicken Pad Thai and I've eaten it at numerous restaurants in the US. The pad thai here was ok. It had eggs on top of it. They need to put more sauce in the noodles. It was a bit dry. The prices are a tad bit expensive for me.

Had lunch here. Chicken Cordon Bleu. The chicken was nice, fairly tender. But the sautéed potatoes that came with it were a bit undercooked. Even worse, the 'salad' that came with it was simply shredded white cabbage, with no dressing of any kind on it!! Unbelievable.

We went for a drink on a Friday night around 10:30pm and it was completely empty. We were very disappointed as we heard so much about Funky Buddha from our friends. The place is nice to sit and relax.

We visited this restaurant twice during our stay; once for dinner and another time for lunch. The wifi signal was strong and they had nice music playing. Our meals were delicious. If you're into a restaurant that radiates cool vibes then come here.
