Been here already two times and the hummus and falafel are delicious. Close to khao San road and a nice place if you are in for something else than Thai food.

My colleague took me to this place for lunch and was piqued with curiosity from outside, as there were a lot of patrons coming in and out - despite its hidden location. The menu is an extensive array of Mediterranean specialties and you could see from the orders that everyone has their personal favorites. We had falafels and side dishes,... More

Amidst all the cheap eateries in this part of town we discovered this little restaurant a few months ago: only the big neon sign gives it away since it's located in a small alley near the (famous or infamous) Kao San Road. After weeks of Thai food a Falafel Pita Sandwich sounded -and tasted!!- so good. The menu offers so... More

Found this place in an unusual spot near Khaosan Rd tucked away in an alley way between the police station and Burger King. As a frequent traveller and having lived in Asia i can 100% recommend this spot to travellers in bkk. Amazing quality food served in a clean environment. The staff are fast and so is the food. I... Good israeli food! Falafel and specially the eggplant salad (if you like garlic) are amazing. The plates are big and reasonable price comparing to other restaurants in Bangkok.

Who would have thought you could find great falafel and hummus in Bangkok but you can! We ordered lots of different dishes and all were tasty especially the mushroom hummus. Definitely visit if you want a break from curries (although they do serve those too!)

Thank Lucy G

Staying in Banglamphu

Neighbourhood Profile
While you’ll see skyscrapers in most parts of Bangkok, it’s the gilded roofs of ancient pagodas that adorn the skyline of Banglamphu, the city’s historical and most touristic district. Hordes of tourists flock to this area to tick quite a few must-see attractions off their to-do list, with the Grand Palace being the most spectacular of them all. Banglamphu is also home to Bangkok’s infamous tourist ghetto, centered around Khao San Road. Visit at night to feast on road-side pad thai, cheap beers and if you’re up for it, some dancing fueled by buckets of Thai whiskey.
