I visited this restaurant a few times on my most recent trip to Bangkok in Feb 2020. Its conveniently located on Soi 22 in a alley right next to Marriott Hotel.
Small cosy restaurant with basic furnishing but with very good halal food which is proper traditional thai cuisine. Owner Osman is often found chatting to customers from table to table which is a nice touch and reassures the customers that the owner is passionate about what he does and his thai muslim heritage. Staff are also courteous and helpful and hence the service.
The quality of food is definitely better on comparison to other thai halal establishments (MBK food court has few halal thai restaurants). I absolutely loved the clear soup tom yum gong which was always spot on with fresh ingredients and tangy thai flavours. Thai green curry varied from being exceptional in quality in some visits to being OKish in some. Menu is exceptional with a huge variety and there is some thing for every one. Drinks were also good with a huge list to choose from.
My only constructive criticism would be the price of food and how it eventually translates into value for money specially comparing to what else or where else you could eat for the same amount of money. They definitely have competition and not far from them in Sukhumvit district in the Halal food sector.
Food is good but I personally found it to be too pricey for what it was and and how much it is sold for for at other restaurants often upmarket ones hence the 4 star rating. I felt Osman is exploiting the fact he is Halal and thinks he can get away with it, might not be the case for too long.
In any case a good food joint that I would perhaps visit again on my next trip to Thailand and would definitely recommend to others. I hope that establishment takes my comments into account for continuous improvement for their clients and business.

Wow is the word that comes to mind. The food here is truly spectacular. Great balance of spices - let’s the flavor of dishes come through. The owner (Usman) and family are incredibly welcoming and make guests feel at home in the venue. The Massaman curry is among the best I’ve ever tasted and the TY Soup has a tremendous depth of flavor. Usman makes an effort to speak with guests and is a hard working & humble gentleman. Restaurant is clean and the staff make the experience even better. Just go and enjoy an amazing Thai meal with these wonderful people-

Usman Thai Muslim Restaurant never fails to amaze me! The quality of food is superb and all staff are courteous! Mr. Usman is a very humble and friendly person. He always welcomes his guests like family! For some tourists who are not able to eat spicy food, you may request any of the staff to adjust the spice level. Their tom yum and mango sticky rice are highly recommended!

If you’re hungry, don’t go to this restaurant or you will get hangry instead. We were there during off peak hours (3.00pm) and didn’t get served our food until nearly one hour later! The table behind us came at almost the same time as us got served first and completed their meal before we got our first dish. That was after multiple complaints and reminders to the staff to check on our order status . The deep fried squid that we ordered came cold, so what took them so long to deliver? To be honest, the food was just mediocre, not as good as it was hyped up to be. The owner must take note of these complaints as I’m very sure I’m not the only one who had experienced this terribly slow service here. Revamp your training and SOP. Waiters and waitresses are aplenty but yet there is no proper queue system. Why did this restaurant get such high ratings is beyond me. No, I will not bother coming here again.

I had breakfast here early in the morning as I was looking for a Thai Breakfast. I got the fried rice with fried egg with chili fish sauce on the side. It was very tasty!
The owner, Usman and ladies there are very nice and pleasant.
The rest of the menu looked so good. I will have to come back for lunch/dinner.

I've got a chance to visit this restaurant 2 times on my business trip to Bangkok in June 2022. The first time I came, I tried the common Thai Foods such as Tom yam, fried squid, and fried vegs. Foods were so tasty and great, I love it. The 2nd time I came with my colleagues, I introduced them to Usman halal restaurant, and they admitted that the foods were great and so tasty. Especially the fish...It's so yummy and spicy. I've got a chance to talk with the owner, Khun Usman, a very nice and friendly guy, and he could speak bahasa Melayu. I highly recommend our fellow travelers to try this halal restaurant.

Today we a family of three adults tried Usman Thai Muslim Food Restaurant at Sukumvit soi 22 Bangkok. Its a muslim authentic halal Thai restaurant.
We ordered Tom-Kha-prawn soup, Fried beef with basil, Deep Fried fish with sweet chillie sauce, Prawn fried in Tomyum sauce, veg fried rice, steamed rice.
All the food was perfect except the beef which was mince instead of thin slices as in picture in menu and it was quiet hard.
Overall experience was great as all dishes except one are great in taste.
I will definetly come back to this restaurant inshaAllah.

just spoil your belly with halal food, which tastes Thai still authentic and delicious. not to mention that a small portion is just more than enough while the price is also a good deal. Beef garlic is best.

The halal food here is incredibly delicious with a wide array of options, including beef, chicken, seafood, and tantalizing soups like Tom Yum Kung. It’s a small space & a lot of Muslims here to biy food. No hesitation to eat their delicious food!

At the first time when I arrived at my hotel, I doubted where I can find Halal food around here since my hotel is surrounded by Spa and Massage. Then I found this restaurant at Google Maps and they served delicious halal dish. Their green sambal, whatever they called it, was super delicious. It was spicy yet refreshing. As Indonesian, I never had kind of that sambal previously. I will try to back to visit this restaurant again when I am back to Bangkok somedays.

Nice halal restaurant. Has variety of halal Thai cuisine. Nice and tasty. Friendly owner and crews. Cosy place located at Sukhumvit Soi 22 next to Marriot and Holiday Inn. A bit hidden at an alley.
A certified halal restaurant. Have accomodation too.

Our 1st meal upon arriving in BKK! Food never disappoint us. Restaurant is located by the side of the road, easy to locate. Very homey restaurant. Good service! Nice presentation of the food & food taste flavourful. Price is affordable. Highly recommend here. They do have homestay too..

Will not recommend because of poor service.

Unable to cater for large groups. They have no organisation in serving food. Food was provided in parts after long wait, for instance rice before curry, half curry served and half served to other tables. The manager’s attitude was unbothered when we tried to give her feedback (borderline rude). We reserved in advance and they should have made it clear that they are unable to serve a large group in a professional manner. We denied service charge here as very disappointing service. Please be aware that they cannot accommodate group of 11 or more.
